How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)

Your lucky, I called the execute number and they still told me no. I wish I could get it this time.

I have 5 lines now for $112. 2 of them are free (2019 lines on us + 2019 line on us). But granted how much time I spent on making my fifth line being free (i added it during the promo, but the line itself was activated outside of promo, hence the issue) I am not sure I am ready to go through this chore again. On the other hand it's nice to have a line in my laptop/car/apple watch etc. makes life so much easier.

Looking up your SOC via the Developer Console (details on Reddit) will save you some headache as there are plenty of SOC (TMobile Plans) that do not qualify. I have lines on 'ONE60TIFM' (TMobile One+ 55+ Plan at $60, its now $70) and that does not qualify per the attachment of qualifying SOCs.

Typical that people online will likely know more than CSRs if things qualify or not...

Wow so soon.. added free line last time. Even got them to put on kickback but when bill comes it states $10 off but doesn't actually come off bill.

Yeah I feel extremely lucky looking at some of the posts here. I read that some people were able to ask T-Mobile help on twitter to get their soc changed so they would qualify and it seemed to work. I may give it a try this time so that my plan qualifies. Sucks that my plan is 10SCFM4 and the one that qualifies is 10SCFM4L. Good luck!

I agree, sceew them. They not only denied it but said I should have never been on the rate I was on, due to a mistake, right.. dont trust Tmobile, they are dishonest right now. Flat out lies to me. This was Tforce, normally very quick, and good. Liars.

its just matter of finding that one rep who has or know someone who has access to old grandfathered system to make the change. i have been trying to change my tmobile one TE to TI plan forever and have been told no multiple times that it couldnt be done. one time i read it on someone'se post that he just had it done. so i tried my luck again on tforce via fb. rep again told me no, then i mentioned that someone just had it done. rep was nice enough to do more digging and came back to me and said yes. however, he didnt get around to finish the change and had to leave. left a note on my account so that next rep could take over and finish it. guess what, next rep said the last rep was wrong and it couldnt be done. i was too tired to talk to him and gave em bad feedback on tmobile text. then someone who claimed to be tmobile supervisor called me up and asked me what went wrong for the bad feedback. i explained the whole story again and she also confirmed it couldnt be done. i just hung up on her. waited 2 weeks, decided to try again and bang, found another lady who said yes. so finally got my plan changed.

its true that it does take some time and the right rep to make things happen.
