*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I don't know if I understand what this is. I have a prepaid unlimited Tmobile line now. A "Line on us" means what exactly? What can I do with it? Does it cost me anything after the fact?

You add a line that stays with you at no cost to you until you change your plan.

I ran into the same issue as you but that may be due to my soc that was never disclosed to me. Luckily after contacting them a few times, they were able to force a permanent addendum to my account for the line. Unfortunately, that also ends all future free lines if it is ever available for my soc.
you are lucky. They say that I am not eligible, but they give bill credits when I call. seems like I will have to call 21 more times.

I love TMobile, but screw them for this promotion. I have insider hookup and the one plus plan with 2 lines.. so $80 a month (no free Netflix).. they said last time could get it. Had it for a month, they charged me, told me it was a mistake should have never got it for free. Luckily, I didn't buy a phone, and they gave a credit to almost cover the amount for the month.

I had the same issue - im on Simple Choice - Unlimited Family Match (Soc: FL15CL) and it said i don't qualify. When i ended up cancelling the line, the rep said i wouldnt be able to qualify for new promos for 90 days regardless if it was Tmo's fault since the rep should have never signed me up since my plan didnt qualify.

People often confuse that plan. It's the 2 lines for $100, plus a free line, making it 3 (ignoring discount).
That plan cannot add new lines. You need to change plan. Every T-Mobile add a line thread have ask this question about that particular plan.
I can confirm this is true. You will NOT be eligible for the free line promo if you are on the special 2 for $100 TMO ONE All In Promo plan that does not include Netflix (which I believe was last offered around October 2017). I too was on that plan, and I texted 611 to get my free line. The rep assured me I was eligible and added the free line to my account. A few days later I got an automated text from T-Mobile saying that one of my promos was removed (didn't specify which one). I called and they confirmed that this meant my free line was removed because my plan was actually not eligible. The new rep tried to add it back, and about 24 hours later I got the same automated text saying a promo was removed from my account. I called again, and this time the rep said he could add the free line (even though the promotional period was already over), but I HAD to switch my plan to Magenta, which is what I did. I was able to gain Netflix and keep my Insider Hook Up, but I had to forgo my Kickback on all lines, as it's not compatible with Magenta plans. I tried to get them to switch my plan to the 2 for $120 ONE plan (w/ Netflix) so I could keep my Kickback and still get a free 3rd line, but they couldn't (or wouldn't) switch it.

Long story short: Don't even try to add a free line if you're on the 2 for $100 TMO ONE All In Promo plan. You will just end up with a paid 3rd line. It was a major hassle to get it sorted out. It took a lot of patience and a lot of going back and forth with reps via phone calls and chat (lasted about a month for me). If you really want this promo, do yourself a favor and switch to the 2 for $120 Magenta plan first. Then take advantage of the free line promo. The switch was worth it for me, and T-Mobile made it right in the end. It may or may not be worth it for your specific needs, but it if is, heed this advice to save yourself the headaches and hassle.

I am currently on the T-Mobile One Plan (TM1TI2). I have 3 paid lines and 2 free lines? Can I move one of my phone numbers on the paid line to a free line?

For example, Line 1 paid, Line 2 paid, Line 3 paid, Line 4 free, Line 5 free. Can I move the phone number from Line 1 to Line 5 and then drop Line 1 (paid line)? Do I have to wait 90 days or 1 year before I can do this?

Thanks.

Same here, just keep adding free lines to a grandfathered SC plan. Just pay the approx. $4 in taxes for the new line.
All my 10 lines are full Frown Love TMobile, but any change I make now will be costly. Currently $170 after all taxes for the 10 lines, all text/calls/data.

Hmm... I'm not sure. Maybe I would've had better luck if I had that SOC and asked them to change my SOC to that one.
