*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

The instructions for looking up SOC code don't work in either browser. Chrome hasn't had a "view" option on the menu in years. If you go to More Tools> Developer Tools, then select the Network tab and XHR subtab, filter for "subscriber," neither "rateplan," "planType," nor "socCode" are in the captured string. The same thing happens when I did it in Firefox. Has anybody else had any success?

Hmm... I'm not sure. Maybe I would've had better luck if I had that SOC and asked them to change my SOC to that one.
I have a follow up setup by my rep. She is awesome and would go that extra miles to make things happen. If I can get that so code, she might be able to switch me over

Is it 2lines for 120 before or after auto pay discount

I believe it's 2 for $120 after autopay discount. Hope it works out for you.

I think that's what I have lol. First 2 lines after auto discount is 120 + 2 additional lines to 160
Soc is FRLTULF2

I have 2 base line + 2 paid lines + 3 free lines. Took fore wr to switch over from TE to TI. But I think I'm losing first 2 free lines since it's not compatible with TI. Rep tried add it back and it fell off the next day per T-Mobile text. I'm prepared to give up first 2 free lines since I don't use em much anyway.

Becareful, there are some strings with this deal. I was previously grandfathered into a Tmobile One All in plan, which includes HD netflix, 5gb roaming mexico, canada. 2 lines for 100 no taxes and fees + one free line. I lost all that, they moved me to a tmobile Essential plan, 4 lines for 100$ + taxes and fees. So now I'm paying 120$ for 4 lines, i might as well should've added a new line for 20$ and keep all my other perks. Apparently there was some conflict between my previous free line, and this free line. They're currently looking into fixing my plan, said i've been with them for 13 years so they'll try to remedy this. I'll find out in the next 24-72 hrs if I get the deal like I thought i would. So for anyone out there with a sweet ass deal already, becareful!

Simple Choice NAUTTF is on the list!

What we need are the offers that are currently available with add a line (ie free phone) and what plans those are available.

Last time I qualified for free line but not free iphone on us. I had to send back the iphone.

Too bad data lines are not included. Voice line tax is just too high to have a line sitting around unused.

Data line tax is usually under $1. Voice is almost $5 where I am.

Wow so soon.. added free line last time. Even got them to put on kickback but when bill comes it states $10 off but doesn't actually come off bill.
How, kickback ended years ago. None of the 3 lines I've added since then have it, including the 2 I pay for.

Have your conversation recorded. I got burned before and things got resolved only after I requested to have my calls to be listened to by upper management.

so my account is included in the promo.

the bigger question is, why should I/we add another one, since it'd cost extra $4-$5/month on taxes.
If you don't have a need for another line nor value another line at ~$5/month then you shouldn't add one. Those of us on the One or Magenta plans can add a line for free since taxes/fees are included so it's a no brainer.

Quote from wgdz :
Off topic .. anyone can help confirm? In the billing I see Magenta Plus $112.00/mo

Applies discounts and promotions:
$10 AutoPay Discount
$28 Iowa Wireless Hook Up
$30 2020 3rd Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)
$5 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)

What is the real monthly bill, $112 or something lower? I have 3 lines atm and off hand it seems like it's $140 for three lines - 28 (20% hookup) = $112. Then additional deductions for the free line and auto pay?
$112/month is your real monthly bill. If I'm doing the math right, you can think of it as $90+ $60 + $35 = $185 per month for three lines on Magenta Plus without any discounts. Subtract $5 for each of the three lines for auto pay to get you to $170 per month. Subtract $30 for the free 3rd line gets you to $140 per month. Subtract 20% hookup gets you to $112 per month.

Quote from risensunx :
I am currently on the T-Mobile One Plan (TM1TI2). I have 3 paid lines and 2 free lines? Can I move one of my phone numbers on the paid line to a free line?

For example, Line 1 paid, Line 2 paid, Line 3 paid, Line 4 free, Line 5 free. Can I move the phone number from Line 1 to Line 5 and then drop Line 1 (paid line)? Do I have to wait 90 days or 1 year before I can do this?

Thanks.
To keep the free line, you can't cancel any existing lines for 12 months. After a year, you should be able to port out a line and port it back in.

is it available even if I have 2 + 2 free line? Is there any limit on number of free line one can have?
