*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

The instructions for looking up SOC code don't work in either browser. Chrome hasn't had a "view" option on the menu in years. If you go to More Tools> Developer Tools, then select the Network tab and XHR subtab, filter for "subscriber," neither "rateplan," "planType," nor "socCode" are in the captured string. The same thing happens when I did it in Firefox. Has anybody else had any success?
Chrome:
When you are on the home page, hit F12 key. The developer mode will appear. Hit F5 to refresh the page. Follow the rest of the instruction.

is it available even if I have 2 + 2 free line? Is there any limit on number of free line one can have?
No limit, as long as your plan is compatible

I love TMobile, but screw them for this promotion. I have insider hookup and the one plus plan with 2 lines.. so $80 a month (no free Netflix).. they said last time could get it. Had it for a month, they charged me, told me it was a mistake should have never got it for free. Luckily, I didn't buy a phone, and they gave a credit to almost cover the amount for the month.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I had the same happen to me, despite then conforming everything I kept getting charged monthly.

So I have 10 lines under SCFUTT6 which eligible for this promo, can I add extra line or take advantage of this promo?
Thanks.
I think you're going to find out that your plan is maxed out at 10 lines. I had 10 lines on this SOC before taking a huge leap and switching over to Magenta by having my wife open a new account and jumping through a few hoops.

So even though the plan code is eligible for this promo, you simply can't add another line even if you want to pay for it. Simple thing to do is after Friday, just go into your account online and try adding another line. If you can, great ... it'll be free. If you can't add a line, you'll know you're stuck at 10 lines.

Is it still true that one can have maximum of 15 lines under 1 SSN?

I have 2 accounts with 15 lines total (7 lines in one - 1 is free and 8 lines in another with 1 free line - With discounted Netflix, 20% F&F discount, Free + features).

Couple of years back when I asked about adding a free line, they told me that I can only have 15 voice lines under 1 SSN.

Is this still true? Just wondering.
My plan SOC is valid for this promo...

I have a good friend with Sprint on a family plan (unsure of plan name). He was rejected getting a free line with Sprint's promotion.
As Sprint is the same as T-mobile, can anybody suggest if he can do this upcoming T-Mobile deal instead? Thank you

My rate plane is FRLTUL2LP. Looks like the 4LP is there but not the 2. For reference I have the 2 Lines T-Mobile ONE All In Promo" plan and I do have a "Line on us" line that I got back in 2017 when the CEO of Verizon made fun of T-Mobile so T-Mobile turned around and gave everybody a free line.

can we add another free line if we took advantage of the July on us free line promo two months ago?

Seems like after a year I can cancel two paid lines and move them to this free line.

What do people do with extra lines?
I have a good friend who wants a free line for a good political reason. He plans to visit China and doesn't feel safe to have the CCP customs checking his existing Wechat account which might have problems. He wants a fresh start.

I have a free line from the July free line promotion and have a 5 paid lines, total of 6 phone lines.

Can anyone give some advice on how to cancel one of the paid line and transfer it's number onto the free line? We want to keep the phone number tied to the paid line.
