*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I've never had an issue with T-Mobile. Left Verizon 9 years ago. My bill is about $200 month all in. I have 7 lines plus Watch plus 4G LTE on my Ipad Pro 3. I carry two phones --one work, one personal, wife, daughter, son, daughters boyfriend, and one close friend (who was paying $60 a month for single plan). Three free lines. I typically buy cheap refurb phones on Ebay till there is a good trade in deal. Was buying Samsung Galaxy S7's for a round $100. Got $300 trade in for A71 5G for daughter and $300 trade in for mine to V60 Thinq Dual Screen and $500 trade in to Note 9. Free Netflix (okay a few buck to upgrade to 4k). Tons of free stuff on Tuesdays. 4G LTE still faster than AT&T 5G in my area. Getting ready to trade Note 9 for Note 20.

So yes I'll take another free line (my plan is on the list) and I'll help another friend out and since no contract--no risk to me.

Bill is $193.94 after autopay and other credits. No equipment charges.

Nope! it's a free phone when you add a line and port in. I would apply hookup to one of the 2 ATT lines, open your tmobile account and get 3 lines, port in the 2 ATT, third line will be a free one, and then on Friday get another free line, leaving you with 4 for $96 on magenta.
QUESTION, will the free line, if you port in a number, be eligible for the 20% hookups?

Correct:

$1000: iPhone: 8/+, X, XR, XS/Max; Galaxy: S20 Series, S10 series, Note10 series, Note9; Pixel: 4/XL; OnePlus: 7T, 7T Pro 5G, 8, 8 Pro

$800: iPhone: 6s/+, 7/+; Galaxy: S8 series, S9/+, Note8; Pixel: 3/XL, 3A/XL; LG: G8, G7, V40, V50, V60; OnePlus: 6, 6T, 7, 7 Pro
Hmm so after doing some math it seems like I would break even short term, best case scenario since I do not have any of the qualifying phones.

Maybe I'll find an 11 pro cheap before the 12 comes out. 🤷

Thanks for your help

Well yes but it would be 20% off $0. Lol.

Lol, thanks. I thought the 20% applied to the entire bill.

Hey also, I asked before, if you don't use the number, SIM, and just have it stored in a drawer will it be deactivated?

Does anyone know if that digits thing takes up a line on your account for purposes of the SOC max lines?

Seems like tmobile gonna get sold. Why they keep doing free lines? My quess is they looks better in terms of how many customers they have. Just my 2 cents. I might be wrong.

IIRC, opening or closing a new line within 90 days would disqualify from a most likely upcoming BOGO iPhone promotion.

Is there a cap on how many lines you could have? I'm on the old tmo one plan with 8 existing lines. I recall for other free line deals if you have over eight lines then you have to switch to a different plan??

The K51, however, if you get a $200 hookup code you can end up getting the half off oneplus 8 5G and end up paying $150
I don't think I'm eligible for the hookup code since I already have an account and have the 20% insider discount.
