*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I have a free line from the July free line promotion and have a 5 paid lines, total of 6 phone lines.

Can anyone give some advice on how to cancel one of the paid line and transfer it's number onto the free line? We want to keep the phone number tied to the paid line.
To keep the free line from the July promo, you have to keep ALL current lines active for 12 months. Any changes to number of lines til then will void the July promo... I asked my local store manager before switching over to T-Mobile back in July

Seems like tmobile gonna get sold. Why they keep doing free lines? My quess is they looks better in terms of how many customers they have. Just my 2 cents. I might be wrong.
tmob is owned by Deutsche telecom. likely not goint to get sold again due to regulatory issues. however they are doing everything they can to bankrupt att which attempted to aquire it in 2011!
Verizon Wireless: 119.9 million subscribers, $117b debt
T-Mobile US: 98.3 million (includes sprint) , $60b debt

Is there a cap on how many lines you could have? I'm on the old tmo one plan with 8 existing lines. I recall for other free line deals if you have over eight lines then you have to switch to a different plan??
Old Simple Choice plans have a limit of 10 voice lines

You can ADD a line and keep existing lines.
You CANNOT add a line AND delete a line

You can add a line, you just can't cancel any current lines for 12 months. I'm on the Magenta plan with 5 lines (3rd line "on us"). I'm planning to add a free line after Friday for my mom... and since Magenta plan has all taxes and surcharges included, my free line will actually be FREE !

From what i am reading in the deal, i think for the iPhone 11 Pro deal you need to switch from another provider.

FRLTUL2LP for me which means NO GO as previous PROMOs. For the past 3-4-5 years; Tmobile did not qualify my plan on a single promotion.

Thanks. Any chance would you know if the One plan also allows more than 8 lines?

The K51, however, if you get a $200 hookup code you can end up getting the half off oneplus 8 5G and end up paying $150
If I am adding a line and buy this 5g phone, do I need a type 2 or 3 $200 code?

Thanks.

Lol, thanks. I thought the 20% applied to the entire bill.

Hey also, I asked before, if you don't use the number, SIM, and just have it stored in a drawer will it be deactivated?
20% off each voice line individually on that account.
it'll be fine in a drawer
