How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I currently have 8 lines on the TMO ONE plan (taxes + fees included) with the ONE + Promo on all 8 lines (10GB high speed hotspot + HD Streaming). They said 8 is the max lines on my plan code and to go to the 9th line they'd have to change the plan code, and the new plan code doesn't have the ONE + Promo options so I'd lose the high speed hotspot and HD streaming.
Anyway around that, to keep the ONE+ Promo going?
otherwise, I think I'll pass.
My 3rd line was a free Promo Add On Line (also includes TMo+ additions).
Is there a way to get this 4th line without losing any of the above?
I have Magenta, and I just called in (selected the call me back option - keep your queue) and added the free line promo. They also documented the promo add free line on my account. NOTE: I had my own sim card to activate. Its always a good strategy to keep spare sim cards...
Does anyone know what is the number of maximum free lines one can add assuming these free add-a-line promo keeps happening?

Call in rep initially said can't do another free line but I quickly interrupted him and read him terms. He said he felt embarrassed and quickly did it.
Now have to wait till sim arrives and check account for the inevitable screwups
