*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I am on the FRLTULF2 plan with 8 lines. I called 611 this morning. Supposedly my ONE plan maxes out at 8 lines but I got an awesome and competent rep who put me into a grandfathered ONE plan that allows up to 12 lines and was able to add the additional free line. I needed the extra lines and expect to add paid lines soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't lose any of the benefits I had (kickback, free foreign text and 2G, Netflix etc.) I have to say - I love T-Mobile and expect to be with them for a long time. .
I'm on the same plan with 8 lines. Do you know which plan they changed you to?

Got the free line this morning and one back in July, everything done through the app. Was charged only $10 for the SIM card back in July. Was charged $30 this morning ($10 SIM card fee + $20 activation/assistance fee). The rep this morning refused to waive the $20 fee because I had to "talk to him" on the app to get the offer while the one back in July told me there was no $20 fee since I used the app.
The $20 support fee seems arbitrary, I was informed I would be charged $20 and $10 sim fee will be waved originally. But the sim I had expired so rep then said she will waive the support fee and charge me the sim fee.

There is a $250 rebate offer for BYOD + add a line + number port that started today. There are discussions about it on the T-Mobile subreddit. Not sure if add a line at Costco qualifies.

Promo Code: 2020BYOD1

Start Date: September 18, 2020

Rebate Value: up to $250

After rebate via virtual prepaid card. Limited-time offer; subject to change. Qualifying credit, device, service, and port-in from AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Spectrum, Claro or Xfinity required. Complete port-in and register code within 30 days of activation. If you have cancelled voice lines in past 90 days, reactivate them first. Get $250 via Virtual Express Prepaid Mastercard® Card, which you can use online, or in-store via accepted mobile payment apps; no cash access & expires in 6 months. Card is issued by MetaBank®, Member FDIC, pursuant to license by Mastercard International Incorporated. Mastercard is a registered trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated. Use of this card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions stated in the Cardholder Agreement. Must be active and in good standing when card is processed. Allow 6-8 weeks from fulfillment of offer requirements. Max 4/account. May not be combined with some offers or discounts (e.g., Carrier Freedom).

Customers can get a $250 Rebate when they BYOD, activate a new line of service, and port in a number.

They are asking for an account number as well? What you give them?
From Google:
Ask your mobile service provider to port your number to their service.
Note: If your mobile service provider asks for your account number and PIN, provide your ten-digit Google Voice phone number and the PIN you use to access your Google Voice voicemail.

Did you use the chat function on the app?
It was through the app's chat. I will call in a few days and ask them to cedit/waive the $20 charged.
