*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Hmm, can't port in a Sprint number on the free line? That may kill what I was planning to do. Anyone else can confirm this?
Sprint and Tmobile are same company now. I do not think they will allow you to do so.

As usual the new line shows up with no addons. Now have to call in to find rep who can mirror other lines addons

my agreement showed 6gb/$15 which I didn't agree to so I'll need to get them to switch it from that to the free 4gb

I usually get no data at all in one or more lines when i add one new line. Last time, i got 6GB/$15 on 3 lines when i added one line. I don't know WTH

you can ask for a credit

I just did and they said sure

So pay 10.60 now and they'll credit you in your statement.

I was able to add another free line using the promo on my T-Mobile One account. Now I have a total of 7 line, 3 of them being free.

Problem is that the new plan details show an increase by $20.
It will show that way as that is what the cost of the additional line would be, just keep an eye on it, if it's not credited call them and ask about it. In the next couple of bills it will 0 out 20-20

I just asked over app-chat and they said port-in from Sprint is fine. That of course is much different than me successfully doing a port-in.

For those that added a line already for the BYOD offer at Costco, do they need an IMEI or actual phone in hand or is none of that required and they just give you a SIM?
It's probably YMMV, but my Costco guy said I at least needed an IMEI.... Which sucks because I dropped in after work. I think I'll just add the free line via texting 611 because i don't trust people messing with my plan without screenshots.

I called T-Mobile and got a free line and a iPhone 11 Pro Max (Midnight Green) for $100 by porting in a Google Voice number and trading in an iPhone Xr. Before calling, I unlocked the Google Voice number ($3 charged by Google). I have the Simple Choice North America 6GB Family Match plan (SOC: 6SCFM2LN) plus the $40 Friends & Fam 2 Lines On Us. Basically, 2 paid lines + 2 free lines. The new line will make it 2 paid lines + 3 free lines on my plan.

I wanted to get the iPhone 11 Pro, but they had zero in stock. I asked the rep if there is any stock at my local stores. She said that their inventory system is connected, and there is no stock at my local stores as well. I guess $100 for a Pro Max is not so bad after all. They gave me $207 instant trade-in credit, and the rest ($793) will be issued as bill credits over 24 months. She also waived the sim card fee and activation fee. I paid sales tax on $1,100 (full price of the Max Pro) upfront. It adds $12.80/month to my bill for 24 months (subtract the $207 instant trade-in credit, and the total boils down to $100).
I did same thing, it works now, but I have to pay $30 for the sim and fee

Thanks. Any chance would you know if the One plan also allows more than 8 lines?
I know the Magenta plan allows for 12. Not sure on the One plan though.
