*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Yeah, I did that too, just trying to double-dip. Is it allowed though? I hope it goes through. I read from previous posts, some people are doing the same thing. Crossing my fingers!
Read the thread here which states Costco signup not eligible for the $250 promotion. Can't hurt to try since you already signed up at Costco so nothing to lose (besides port-in number cost).

"Double checked. Costco is considered national retail, which is excluded from the offer. Sorry for the misinformation!"

It really sucks that T-Mobile has no more 256GB phones in stock. 64GB are useless, to me.
Yep. Was hoping for a 128gb iPhone XR but there's only black 64gb so I passed and got a SE 128gb for $250+ tax.

My SOC is USCFM4, per the Firefox>Web Dev>Network>Whatchamacallit>blah...blah code. Anyhow, I called 611 and the overseas agent (assumed based on her accent) said that she assured me that my grandfathered plan SC is qualified for the free line. She gave me her employment Id number, waived the asst fee and charged me $10+ for the SIM card. She said when I get my SIM card next week and activate the new line, the line will be free. It will take two billing cycles before the free promo will kicks in. Deja vu since I heard this story before in June/July and they cancelled my free line two months later.

But anyhow, here is my receipt:

Item name Quantity
SC FM UTT+UNL 4 LINES PROMO 1
BYOD 3in1 SIM Card 1
SC FM UTT+UNL AAL 1
ASSISTED SUPPORT 1
SC UNL + 14GBHS 1

Did she switched my SOC so that they can add the free line? My USCFM4 max voice line is 15 lines but so far, I have seven voice lines, four paid and three free lines for $150 plus tax. The 14GB hotspot feature is useful when traveling for meetings when I have to carry my laptop/tablets with me.

Any insights will be appreciated. I didn't bother to ask the agent CSR about any free phone promos this time around. Hope they can finally forced and override the USCFM4 restrictions on my ancient plan to successfully add this new line.

Would you be eligible for one plus promo and kickback on a new line? I have TM One plan, with one this one's on us, and BOGO lines, and have above two promos/add-ons. Just wanted to make sure they won't change me to another plan to give free line.

Honestly, it may end up being the same issue for you like it was back in July. Your soc is not eligible. However, I use to be on the 10SCFM4 back in July, which is also not eligible because my soc is missing a "L" at the end, and I was later told that the rep made the mistake in telling me that I was eligible so they gave me bill credits instead to pay back for the months I already paid for the line. After two more reps, they were able to somehow force the promotion onto that line, but was told that it may never be possible again and was made aware that my plan was probably never going to be eligible for these type of promotion.

Fast forward to about two days ago before this promotion started, I was reading around that people on grandfathered plans have been about to contact tforce on either twitter or Facebook, who seems to have much more knowledge and capability than the chats on T-Mobiles website, and got their soc changed, although it is all completely luck on who you land on. I was fortunate enough to get a rep that knew his way around changing grandfathered soc plans so I was moved from 10scfm4 to nafutt4 which made me eligible. I think other people have done it in the past post adding a new line too which seems to work. Good luck!

So I currently have 9 lines with One plan, with the free one it will be 10. I know I can't cancel any lines for 12 months, but does anyone know if the new line remains free if I replace one existing number on the account with another (so the account stays at 10 lines)?

If I add the free line with port-in number, am I qualified for that BYOD1 offer with any phone? Can it be a phone I got from T-Mobile a few years ago? Or it need to be a phone never registered with their network?

I was also curious if the can't cancel lines for 12 month condition for the free lines applies to lines added AFTER this free line on us promotion ends? As in if I add another line around Nov/Dec, I can't cancel that either?

The reason I'm asking is cause I'm pretty sure Costco will have a trade in and add a line for $700/$800 off the iPhone 12 (like it did last year). And for that I added a line and canceled it once I got my rebate card after 3 months. I plan to do the same this year, but it becomes an issue if cancelling this potential line negates the free line.

I got my free line earlier today (not from Costco... missed that), but I was able to get a Samsung A11 for free over 24 months. They offer several low end phone for free, but porting required. I ported from Visible deal few days ago.

5 paid 3 free lines!
I am thinking of porting from Visible as well, is there any issue in doing so? I got free Moto e6 from Visible and trade-in phone is on it's way to them.

My SOC FRLTULFM2 is on the list on the first page. Yesterday I tried to add a line with 611 customer care via SMS. Was told that my Plan will have to be changed to Magenta then back TM One, said no ( first time had to go through a nightmare to have my account restored back to normal in July).

But I went ahead and ordered the line myself online this time, hoping it will be free. Otherwise, will cancel it and move on.

Thank you for your feedback and I hope this time around, the free line will stay since on my the receipt says SC FM UTT. Also, in June/July, I didn't fight back too much since they offered to paid off my new iPhone SE2 with credits.

This is interesting as I am also on USCFM4 and was able to get the free line in June/July after calling a few reps. First few said I wasn't eligible but the final one said I was. I still have the free line with no issues.

I spoke with a rep yesterday who said I would need to switch the L plan ($180 vs $150 base for 4 lines and $40 vs $30 to add a line) or a magenta plan. Neither seems to be a better deal than what I have.

If you do not have any govt or corp discounts, I would recommend the NAFUTT4 soc. It is basically the same rate at $120/4lines and all current and future lines can be switched to unlimited instead of 10gb data limit.

Below is a list of soc that you can look over and see which one fits best and try to get a rep that can change it.

I am on TM ONE plan as well, SOC: FRLTULF2 ; did you mean you were asked to change a plan to Magenta?
