*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

A little confused by the wording. Can I do it online through my account page Add a Line option? (not through online chat)
I don't believe you can do this yourself on your own account page. CSR would need to apply a promo code somehow.
Someone else might be more versed and can reply with certainty.
Either online chat or via 611 phone call

You can do it online chat or call/text 611. Just mention you want to do the free line promo. You'll have to pay for a SIM or use an existing unused SIM. They'll also charge you a $20 activation fee but you can ask to waive that.
Didn't realize I already have SIM. Good idea to activate that and ask for other SIM refund? Smilie

I asked the rep on t-mo chat that promo still doesnt show up as of today morning, since i added the free line yesterday. He assured it will. My scenario is adding a new line. I am guessing that for the folks who see the promo on their account have a port-in.

Does the promo show up for someone who added a new line. I was also told that you have 30 days to add any promo-eligible devices, in case you didnt buy a phone and now changed your mind to get one.
30 days is good to know... I was tempted to get that 1/2 off iPhone SE, but I had second thoughts and just activated the free line. A $200 iPhone seems just too sweet to pass up

I think you get locked for 2 yrs. I woulndt do that for such small amount. Its nice if one has option to purchase outright.

Please share if you see any deals for out-right purchase. I am thinking.

I would ask for a refund if it's not too late.

The free line must be done by a rep, you can't do it yourself thru the add a line option. Either online chat, 611 call or text.

Cool, don't have a need for the extra line right now but I ordered a sim and added the line as I my SoC was on the list. I'll see what happens.

Thinking about it now I wonder if I can use the line for a new iwatch6 since my wife already has a line. Does it use that line in tandem with her iphone or does it needs its' own line?

So i figure i would eventually keep the line for 24 months anyway since its Free... So just wait a few months and pay the 200 and the rest of the payments will be credited the amount on the EIP that you owe? I do agree i wish it was just one time purchase, but this isn't too bad of a promotion especially for a free line?

If I am transferring 4 lines from AT&T, is it too late to stack this promo with the 3rd line on us promo? I was going to transfer 3 lines today and then a 4th line tomorrow to get it free. Would this work?

You can't combine the $100 costco offer with the $250 byod offer as per reddit.
Really? I thought the $100 is running by Costco and $250 is running by T-Mobile. They should stack.

Where does it say you had to open an account before 9/17? If I sign up today, then shouldn't I be an "existing account" tomorrow?

Does this free line come with unlimited everything? (Voice, txt, 5G data)

Or is this voice only?
