*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

You don't pay $3 if you brought non GV number to GV and paid $20.00.

If i got the line and already got a number, is it still possoble to port over to the newly open line?
yes, that's what happens anyway - they give you a new number and then port an old one.

So, I just got the email that SIM is shipped. Online account details shows, line added, plan total increased by $16 (25-5 auto pay - 4 hookup discount), but no mention of latest promo under promotions. However, I did got a text that Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount from T-Mobile as long as you maintain eligibility. Does that mean, it's a free line?

On a related note, there is lots of mixed info, as to from what carriers you'd need to bring the number to qualify for $250 BYOD rebate, does anyone know, if Visible (Verizon MVNO), would qualify for the $250 rebate?

I'm on the 55+ plan (already with 3 lines).

I just got a text from T-Mobile telling me I'm eligible for a free line.

Huh? I thought 55+ didn't qualify.
Did you try it at least? All I got was add another line for only $20 :\

I added my Free Line yesterday. And today i received the text "Congrats! You will received your promotional service discount from T-Mobile as long as you maintain eligibility." My Plan is USCFM4 (Simple Choice North America Unlimited Family Match Promo) 4 Lines for $150.
I checked my account and the discount is posted in my account. So right now i have 3 Free Lines (one that i have contact every single month to get my credits) and 9 paying lines for $300 + Tax. That's $25/line.

Traded iPhone 6 once and iPhone 6s 2 times already in last 2 years. This would've been 4th time...

I just came back from store and got iPhone 11 Pro deal by porting in a ATT number

Thank GOD I did not do the free line in store. This rep basically spent 15 minutes arguing with me saying there is no difference between T-Mobile One and Magenta - he was holding his ground - I'm like Twitter team etc. he just did not know what they were - etc.

I just told him like 5-10 times just don't mess with the plan - the line i added, just trade in my iPhone 7 Plus for the iPhone 11 Pro and port-in number with the promotion.

He did it - it seems correct - no change to plan - etc. He said I should get $800 credits over 24 months.
Is there a certain process they have to do? I called my local store and the rep seemed clueless. She said if you got the line online, you have to buy the phone online too, but she was willing to try.

Also, did you use an eBay ATT number?

Got the same text. I saw the discount in Plan details. "$15 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)" so yes, it's free. (P/S: my plan is Essentials)

I love TMobile, but screw them for this promotion. I have insider hookup and the one plus plan with 2 lines.. so $80 a month (no free Netflix).. they said last time could get it. Had it for a month, they charged me, told me it was a mistake should have never got it for free. Luckily, I didn't buy a phone, and they gave a credit to almost cover the amount for the month.
You have to find a rep that is willing to switch you to the 2/$120 T-Mobile One plan which is $96 after hook-up then you can get the two free lines and the Netflix credit. My lines got screwed up last time so I used that as leverage and everything went pretty smooth.
