*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Keep trying and keep your fingers crossed ...

I had trouble adding "FREE line" to my T-Mobile ONE account - I was on SOC "FRLTULF2" and already had (8) voice lines - the maximum for that plan. I had to request help 4 times from T-Force to get it done (first attempt had "technical difficulties", 2nd attempt "just said NO - either switch to Magenta or forget free line", third attempt also said NO at first) but then another T-Force rep took over the Twitter session and switched my plan to SOC "TIULFM9".

I'm still waiting to see if any of my promotions or discounts (Insider Discout (aka Hookup), existing free lines, 50% off lines, Kickback & ONE Plus Promo) are intact, but I documented everything about those carefully before the switch and in the chat session with T-Force so I expect I can get them re-instated if there are any issues.
Buckle-up - it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

After I posted this today I got a text on my account's main phone line that I had been "un-enrolled" from a promotional service discount, promptly by followed by THREE other messages congratulating me and saying I "will receive my promotional discount" - WTF.
I got back on Twitter for T-Force and they couldn't figure it out either - escalating the issue to "business support" and will get back to me in 3 days.

I had to run across this thread and the one from just before promo to know I could get a free line. Did so last night, and NOW I'm getting messages from TMO on all my lines and email about grabbing a free line.
Thanks again OP, and SD.

I received the same messages and check my account. All discounts are retained after the plan change.

Finally closed the circle, SIM is still in mail, so activated and ported line on spare SIM. Submitted $250 rebate. Will have to find decent phone to use the line.

I guess the credit amount for this free line depends on the plan you have? Mine shows "$20 2020 Line On Us 2".
The credit amount reflects how much the extra line would've cost for you. For example on my Magenta plan, line 3-8 are $20 each but lines 9-12 are $30 each so the credit amount would be $20 if I was activating an 8th or lower line or $30 if I was activating a 9th or higher line.

Went to the store just for the free line.

Didn't know about their BOGO offers for the Samsung's when adding a line.

Rep told me I would qualify for the BOGO since I'm technically adding a line.

Doesn't seem like a bad deal. T

Yes, I've done the 11 pro on us twice already, both in stores, separate visits with different accounts, both times using google voice numbers. You have to unlock the gv number first, and setup a voicemail pin. Also, tell the store rep that it's an ATT number, otherwise they won't do the port in.
Thanks I used an ATT number from ebay, it was cheaper too.

I am financing a few phones with promos and I also have the insider hookup from a few years ago as well as my tablet lines are BOGO as well. My total for all 10 lines (8 voice and 2 tablet) is $213 a month. I'm always checking Reddit, Discord and of course SD to always find line deals.
Hmm mine looks different than yours. I can not see 1 and 2 in 2020. I also got 1 free in June and 1 line 2 days ago. Total 4 paid and 3 free.

If Kickback is automatically added to your this free line, then I think, you'd be the first and maybe only to have that added. I and other tried adding it through TForce and it was no go. Your Plan total shown on the account is always before any Kickback.
I highly doubt I'll see the kickback either for the free line, but was wondering about the monthly plan. Anyway, appreciate the response...repped ya.

I am on select choice plan. How much is your simple choice plan for 2 lines? I have tried to switch but no luck. Anything you can provide will be helpful. Thanks
Simple Choice isn't offered anymore, it's a grandfathered plan. Back when John Legere promised that they would never obsolete any rate plans Smilie Sorry...

I had Kickback added to the new line. Really, every new line after the promotion expired years ago. Sometimes you need to ask a few reps, but there's always one somewhere willing to help out if you ask nicely.

Skipped the last one of these, but hopped on this for an extra line on my existing One plan w/ some existing kickback & other discounts.

Compared to the rest of the folks in this thread I'm a lightweight as only have 3 paid, 2 free lines, and didn't bother with the port-in or phone purchase option. Unfortunately got charged $20 for rep assist & $10 for a SIM, maybe I'll try to fight that assist charge later, but doesn't seem worth it.

Justified the laziness as would have a better chance of not switching me to Magenta or losing discounts. So far so good. Although would have liked a new iPhone - ah well, always a missed deal out there and in this case some money saved Smilie
You'll be better prepared for next time ;-)

Thanks OP. Last month I switched over to T-Mobile Magenta with a 20% Discount

2 (paid) +1 (line on us) = 3 lines for $96 (tax included)

Friday I added 1 free line using this Promo. So now I have 4 Magenta lines for $96. My 2nd grader will have his own number now.

I know some people got a better deal than this but I am happy. Hope I can add few more free lines in the future.
Awesome! 4 lines for $96 is a steal. Some people pay way more for 4 lines on other carriers.
