*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Even you are lucky added for you, there won't anything kickback credit. no point to push.
Yeah, not going to press about the kickback on the new line. I was more concerned about the monthly rate plan since I was told it wouldn't change.

I received the same messages and check my account. All discounts are retained after the plan change.
In your case does your "Plan Details" show the promotion for the "2020 LIne on Us 2" (or whatever represents the September Free Line offer? I do not, I only see the one from July ...

Called 611 which takes me to business customer service and from there I got transferred as I wanted to know the SOC code for the plan. That 2nd rep was the one who helped me and as noted at first she was helping me price out other plan options which were all expensive then what I have and then she simply asked why I was looking to switch and when i said its was because of not enough data she put the 4 out of 6 to unlimited.

Exact same thing happened to me but it looks like my account is as it should be with 9 lines
Do you see the new free line listed on your account's "Plan Details" page - I don't see any additional notation that I have the 2020 Line On Us 2 promo on my plan. But, yes otherwise my plan looks like it did before, except I have 9 voice lines instead of 8.

Which free lines u had/have ?
I have ...
2017 "This Lines On Us" which they applied to a ONE Tablet line;
2017 "Two Lines Price of One" (50% off each line when you added (2) Lines);
2018 "Add One Line, Get One Line" (2nd free line when you added an additional paid line); and
2020 "Line On Us"

But I don't yet see the "2020 Line On Us 2" even though some others do from what they report.

Wouldn't do anything at all. Some are just looking to have it for no reason. If someone shows me a screenshot showing a line is @0 and they got -$10 that would be impressive
There are sometimes cases where it creates a negative line. Before changing plans, I had a line in my base plan that was free but also received Kickback. I don't know whether that was related to the line originally being outside the base plan and later being moved into the base plan, or if it was related to the discount being account-level while Kickback was line-level. I plan to test next month with the new free line.

Does anyone know if you will lose the free line if you port out a different line on the same account after adding in the free line?

Within a year? Yes. Still need to see terms to confirm it'll be ok after a year. Based on previous promos, that should be fine.
