*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I have magenta plus unlimited 55+ with two line. I was able to add a free line.
So sick of T-Mobile's BS as they deny every thing I ask even though people post they got it.

Quote from ironsuperman :
A very helpful customer service representative switched my plan from the T-mobile all in one (3 lines max) to the regular T-mobile one (8 lines max). I got to keep my original free line, hookup 20% discount, kickback, and one plus promos, and I got to add another free line via this promotion yesterday. So now I have 2 free lines and 2 paid lines, plus I will get a $250 mastercard for porting in a new number. I am so happy $80 no tax 4 lines unlimited plus an extra $5 for netflix premium.
They want me to pay $90 plus tax for three lines.

Can anyone help me get a better deal? I'm over 55 and need a third line for my school aged child.

Your bill will be $96 plus $5 for Netflix. It won't be $80 anymore.
You can almost count on that.

You are wrong. Don't tell me about my plan when you don't understand what you are talking about. If you want to ask how it works I can tell you it's not a problem. Here is the breakdown:

I have the T-mobile One taxes and fees included plan. 1st line $70, 2nd line $50.
So total for 2 paid lines = $120 with auto pay

I recieve $20 kickback for the 2 paid lines ($10 kickback each line) because they use less than 2gb per month so:
$120 - $20 for kickback = $100

I have the hookup 20% discount
$100 with 20% off = $80

Then I have the original "This lines on Us (AAL)" from 2017

I also just recieved this promotion "2020 Line On Us 2"

So that makes 2 free lines and 2 paid lines at $80

I added $5 netflix premium for $5

Total $80 for 4 lines and $5 for netflix so = $85

Dont feel bad. I posted here that I got the deal and then after 2 days checked my account and a FAR inferior promo was on the account. Had to spend another hour on chat getting a different rep to fix and took tons of screenshots. So, everyone be careful if you did it over the phone. Check your lines and promos to be sure the correct one was applied!

If you can wait and don't need the 4 lines right now, T-mobile might do more free lines in the future. It would be easy to switch to 2 paid magenta lines and then add the free lines as the become available. It would still be more than the grandfathered plans because some people including myself where able to sign up with 20% hookup discount. Or you could try porting out to a prepaid carrier and then porting back into t-mobile when/ if they run another 2 paid lines 3rd free, and hookup discount again like the $96 magenta from a few days ago with taxes and fees included. You can search the $96 magenta deal on slickdeals.

Lol. You include kickback in your estimate. Its a variable cost. You original post makes it sounds like you get the same deal $80 as it was originally

For some people it's variable. For some people it's not. There are people that don't use more than 2GB per month on a regular basis. It's fair to take that into consideration when quoting a monthly cost.

What exact plan are you on? Does the discount show on the account page when you check online?

Some plans (older plans like Simple Choice, it seems) can take a few billing cycles.

Okay but on these threads you should make it clear that to get this price X I have to do Y.
The baseline of what people pay is the standard. If he needs to restrict data to achieve a particular price point he should have mention that.
Otherwise this thread will get confusing really fast as people are trying to compare better deals.

What's your base rate? 2/$120 or 9/$270? What number line did you add (3rd, 4th, etc?)

Fair point.

I think it was an oversight, and a common one when quoting plan costs.

Thank you for backing me up. I factor the kickback into my total monthly cost because, I have one line that is just for phone deals when they come around the sim essentially stays in a drawer. The other line is my mom's she uses less than 1gb a month lol.
