*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Have Verizon and TMobile. Does it make sense to add another line now for free and then port to Verizon in November when deals sweeten on new iPhones and promos ....especially during Sams 1 day sale? We have military account so we get extra perks with Verizon.

Thanks.

Anybody need a code 3 hookup? I have an extra since I went with $250 BYOD vs. getting a new 5G phone. PM me.

Got the line easy today. I didn't see the port in offer until after I did it. I had a sim and a extra phone so only charge is the $3+ for the fees a month.

I have no use for it now but maybe later.

What's the quickest/cheapest way to get a sim? I'd like to add the line before the promo ends tomorrow. Thank you.

My father is currently on his own plan with T-mobile, is there a way for me to add him to my current plan as the free line and keep his number and take advantage of the free iphone 11 promo? I'm assuming it technically would not be a "port-in".

Seems like he would either have to get a new number or port out of Tmobile to another service and port back in...which could take some time and deal will probably be dead.

Any suggestions?

Can someone please help me. I missed being able to do this in July because I found out about it too late.

I have been a long time customer under the 6SCFM2LN plan, and I qualify.

What do I need to do? I've talked with multiple customer service agents, and one said I didn't qualify even though my SOC plan code is listed. Anyways, another said I should order a new line of service online after logging into my account and it'll automatically work. I didn't see anywhere to put a promo code in, but I did this anyway. I now have an order number for a new SIM to be sent to me and I already have a unlocked phone I can use.

So now what? The SIM will come in a few days, but I don't see a new line of service yet in my account. Am I doing this right?

Was told via a rep this am to pop the SIM into the phone and call 611 from said phone. They should take it from there.

I'm on Essential 55+ plan with 2 lines. Are there any deals available for trading in my iPhone 6s Plus?

Have been answered numerous times already. The line will activate once you pop it into your phone. The discount should also add within 12 - 24 hours afterwards. You should be in a good shape.

If you want to take advantage of the iPhone 11 promo and free line, I would get an AT&T number from eBay to port into TMO and get the new line and phone order in place now. Worry about moving your father's number to the new line later. You will likely have to port out your father's number to something other than T-Mobile, Sprint or one of their MVNOs before porting back into your new free line. But there are far smarter tools in the SD shed than me so hopefully someone else can chime in. But with the free line promo ending tomorrow, get that in place now. No harm in doing that regardless of what happens with your father's number.

That was easy. After spending a few hours on the chat back in June to get the free line then and make sure it's really free this time I just trusted the process.
  • Placed order online yesterday at 1pm on the website. Adding a new line did not indicate any discounts as expected. Paid $10 for the SIM.
  • Order marked as shipped via email/text this morning at 10:45am
  • Text confirmation of the promo text today at 1pm
  • SOC plan #FRLTULF2 (original T-Mobile One)
Took 5 minutes yesterday instead of being glued to the chat window for hours. I am totally OK with making this a quarterly event. How about a wearable or tablet line next time. Big Grin

Still debating if I wanna buy a new unlocked phone from apple and use the $250 BYOD with number port-in.

Mahalo T-Mobile. worship
My SIM order just shipped but I don't see new number assigned to the order. How long did it take? Did you get another text for new line added? I won't get the SIM until later since it is shipped via UPS ground.

Nm. I see number populated in my account.

Get the new line on your plan (assuming you're eligible). Assuming the iPhone promo requires port in, buy an AT&T number on eBay. Port that in for purposes of the iPhine promo. Port your dad out to Google Voice, wait 91 days to be safe, then port him back over the free line. That should get you all the promos.

May just want to confirm that porting a new number later on while receiving your iPhone credits won't be a problem. I don't see why it would, though. Credits are tied to the line, not the number.

Is this still available? I do not see anywhere online these phone choices when you add a line. Please advise. Thanks!
