*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

you have FRLTULFM9 too ? whats the base price for the plan ? 2 lines or 4 lines ? i just switched to FRLTULF2 and this soc is kicking out 2 lines on us promo from 2016. i have a follow up setup by tforce next month and will ask her to switch me over to FRLTULFM9 if this soc stacks with all the lines on us promo, kick back and one plus promo
Originally the question was to me on my plan if you follow the conversation back.

Yes I have the same plan. What soc were you coming from before? I think your rep screwed up and didn't transfer all your discounts and promotions from your original plan.

I was originally on the FRLTULFM2 and they switched me to FRLTULFM9 as FRLTULFM2 max lines are 8. But when checking online all my discounts and promos carried over. Note I was on the One plan and they switched me to the One plan that allows more lines.

Another possibility is if you switched to a different plan, you loose all your discounts and promos.

You can cancel lines after 1 year. Not sure about suspension. Personally, I always err in the side of caution.
Are you sure this is correct for the 2 lines on us promo from a few years back? I thought any line removals voided all free line promos.

Not the person you quoted, but can answer a few of those.

FRLTULFM9 is a base 9/$270 plan. If you're on FRLTULF2, it means you have fewer than 9 lines. You'll need to add a line in order to move up to that plan.

Kickback and One Plus Promo do work on this plan. I can't answer for the 2016 Friends and Family lines. As far as I was aware, these lines were never supposed to stick on the T-Mobile One TI plan. Although given the fact that T-Mobile has at least 20 different SOCs for the T-Mobile One plan, it's not too surprising if there's one that's eligible.

This applies to all free lines from the March 2017 This One's on Us line on, as far as I'm aware.

Are you referring to the 2016 Friends and Family lines? That I don't know. I think those ones may be the exception.

I am trying to add this free line to my brother's acct. How to go about doing it? Do I need to get a SIM today or can I chat and ask them to add the line? Please help. Thank you.

i switched from one TE to TI plan. i have been told multiple times that such switch will cause me to lose 2 lines on us promo in 2016. i was prepared to lose those 2 lines and just cancel em since i dont use em much. it did take me a lot of tries to find one rep who was willing to switch over to TI plan. and that rep also told me that TI plan is compatible with all the free lines credits and promo. then then next day i got tmobile system txt that my free lines on us from 2016 promo got unenrolled. then i found 2nd rep who was nice enough to add the promo back and again, the next day another tmobile system text stated that my my promo got unenrolled.

thats why im trying to find out which TI is compatible with 2 lines on us promo from 2016. i dont mind lose it and cancel those lines, but then i would have to deal with new issues on free line from 2020 since we're not suppose to cancel any lines for a yr.

Chat in or just add it on the website/app. As long as you add it today you'll get the promo.

If you choose to do it yourself, use the information in the wiki to confirm your plan is eligible. Also be sure adding the line won't change your plan.

9 lines for 270 is too much for me. my main concern is to keep 2 lines on us promo from 2016 on a compatible TI plan with 2 lines base

Not sure about your situation but sounds like a mess. I think they need to escalate it.

The FRLTULFM9 is for plans with 9-11 lines. So if you have less lines you need to ask for FRLTULFM2. FRLTULFM2 does stack all the aforementioned promos and discounts.

Thank you so much. Repped.

My brother's soc code is ZMAGENTA2 which qualifies for this promo. Can you please provide the steps if I want to do it on the website? Where do I enter the promotion information? I don't want to mess up anything on my brother's acct.

Thank you so much.

Sure. Sign into the account, click on Account at the top, then scroll down. Click to add a person or device to your account, then follow the steps from there. That should get you through the process.

There may be easier ways, but I've always added my lines via T-Force (Twitter), so I don't know.
