*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Can we add the free line today and do the iPhone promo another day?
yes I did that but 3 days back..added a free line on one day and then got the free iPhone the next day on the free line...but since offers end today not sure how that would affect your case.

Hmm I thought I read somewhere the iPhone promo ends tomorrow but free line ends tomorrow. Perhaps I misread, I can't see to find the end date for iPhone promo on the TMobile website though.

Indeed! They don't want you to cancel any line forever, because this line is free forever, else people would cancel paid line after some time and keep this free forever.
Quote from kenpet :
The Terms and Conditions state the following

Get a FREE line.
Add a voice line for free to an eligible plan with two or more existing lines.

Subject to change. Free new line for accounts with 2 to 11 voice lines; plus taxes & fees for accounts currently paying for a T-Mobile wireless line with additional taxes & fees. Qualifying credit and Magenta, Essentials, ONE, Business Unlimited, or Simple Choice plan required. Credits may take up to 2 bill cycles; credits will stop if you cancel any lines. Limit 1 offer per account.

You can't cancel any of the existing lines that are on the acct for 1 year or forever? Can someone please clarify? Thx

According to T-Force, the actual terms state 1 year before cancellation.

This isn't the first time the terms have been vague. It's been this way for at least a year. My guess is that they want you to think you can't cancel any lines when you actually can. All free lines have worked this way.

Multiple T-Force agents have confirmed for 1 year. I'd feel more comfortable with the actual terms being provided, but this 1 year is consistent with all prior free line promos.

Thanks. Can't rep more. Thank you. Sprint had the same one year term. They were quite explicit in the end date.

Sure thing.

Again, for everybody who sees this: Just to be clear, this is what I've been told by multiple T-Force agents. It's also consistent with all previous free line promos. The only way to be absolutely certain is for someone to get a hold of the complete terms of the promotion. But if I had to guess, the 1 year is correct.

I just added a free line via this offer. I had to go thru customer care. Hopefully everything went ok. I don't see new line on the acct yet. The sim will be shipped in 5 biz days (or I will receive it within 5 biz days). Is there a way to request port in before the sim comes in just in case it takes more than Oct 1 (250 byod promo stacking on the free line)? Thx

That I don't know, sorry. I'm much more familiar with billing, plan features, etc. I don't tend to do a lot of non free-line promos (like prepaid cards, phone promos, etc.) or promos that require port-ins.

Yes. Look at your account. Look for the new phone number. Ask Tmobile to port a number to your New Tmobile number. Once port is complete use the ported new number to register for the rebate.

Edit: I just reread your post and realize they haven't provided you a number yet. That will usually happen when the sim is close to shipping

I did today and it worked. I haven't got the sim yet for the free line added on 09/18. I got the sim shipped and a number assigned to the free line. Got an AT&T number to port from ebay and called 611 and it hardly took 5 mins to finish the porting and got the 3 text msg as well immediately.
Msg 1:
We've started transferring your number xxxxxx1659 to T-Mobile. We'll keep you updated or you can check status at t-mo.co/transfer22
Msg 2:
Mobile number xxxxxx3831 has been changed to xxxxxx1659. For details view the Account Events section on my.t-mobile.com
Msg 3:
Welcome to T-Mobile! Your number xxxxxx1659 has been successfully transferred. We'll be in touch soon with more welcome information, but feel free to check t-mo.co/transfer21 for updates.

Submitted the rebate and text msg
T-Mobile Message: Thank you for your submission to 2020 BYOD P1 Promotion. We will review your submission and verify your eligibility. General processing time is 6 – 8 weeks. To track status, go to t-mo.co/rebate using tracking ID xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

Thanks. So once I have the new number when the SIM ships, I can request port in without waiting for the SIM, correct?
