*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

There should be a way. Both times my lines did not show data and there is a way to add them back. I would call back and get a better rep

It seems more difficult this time around to apply Add Ons to the free Line. I saw more success during the last Free Line. I would just wait a month or so for everyone to forget about the Free Line and try again.
Called the 611 line at night and got the data add-on for the free line to match all of my other lines Smilie Thanks for help hug

What is the best tablet/phablet that is not provisioned as a tablet so that t-mobile allows a phone sim in it? Is there any workarounds to actual tablets to make them recognized as phones even if they are not?
It's called a phone. ;-)

I just had a T-force CSR port in a number into my primary line instead of the New Line. Of course I did not know until I got a TXT saying that my number changed. Luckily, I got back to T-force right away, and they were able to bring my old number back within a few hours.
I had mine done last night and it was flawless. Done shortly after midnight EST and received confirmation this am that all is done and done correctly. But I double checked with the person that we are indeed porting this into the new line added and nothing else gets touched. Big Grin These transactions you have to watch like a hawk.

Thanks. So once I have the new number when the SIM ships, I can request port in without waiting for the SIM, correct?
Correct. It usually only take few hours to a day

Looks like the 50% off the iphone SE for adding a line promotion is done? I only see switch and get 50% off
a) You could spend $7 extra on ebay and get a port-in number to get the $199 discount with the SE2 promo.
b) You could spend $7 extra on ebay and do a port-in and then do the $250 BYOD rebate and buy the phone from Apple

With this new line I maxed out 10 lines for my account.
I am planning to cancel 2 of the paid lines after one year (to fulfil new free line requirement) as I don't need them. Can I just suspend the 2 paid lines for few months to avoid charges on those without impacting free line?
No, you can't do that. if you cancel lines now you have to wait 90 days and you then would be ready for another promo that may or may not come along.

Darn. Ordered the line on Monday and then went to Costco shopping. Missed that. That would have been the better order.

Ordered 3 SIMs, will hopefully get 3X BYOD prepaid cards after porting over. Suck it VZW.
If you are a new customer see if you can get a hookup insider code and get the 20% discount for life. thread is on reddit. Available until end of September. You might have to use the hookup code first but if it is all fresh probably worth contacting CSR and see if it can be applied.

Anyone have any tips on getting them to add unlimited data to the free line to match the rest of my lines?

I got the free line added and my data choices are either 'No Data' or pay $15 for 6 GB of data. The rest of my lines have a free unlimited data add-on. I was able to them to match the data plan for the add a free line promo earlier this year but I'm not having any luck with T-Force this time around. They're saying it no longer exists and they cannot add it to the new line today.
It is my understanding that newer plans such as One that have data in the plan should inherit this from the main account just as any other added line would. This might only be a concern with plans that by default don't have data, like older SC plans? Or will this not be applied?

Edit: to answer my own question, it looks like the new line is part of the One plan and has data. It does not have other add-ons such as kickback or OnePlus.

Is it possible to do this deal over the phone and mail in my iPhone 8 that I'm waiting to get from eBay?
Yes. However, for the Pro on us or something like that if you want instead credit I think it needs to be in store. More monthly credits it can be done remotely. Something like that.

Anyone still have the 2016 friends&family free line(s)under TIULFM9 SOC ?

Two free lines were given
I have seen screen shots here and people stating they have that. I think some have 4-5 free lines by now. I switched plans years ago and cancelled lines too early and did not think of this and lost these 2 free lines and thought I would never get them back. Now this summer two of them popped up out of nowhere. ;-)

I currently have 3 phone lines for $120 (taxes included) plan.

I am qualified for the free line promotion. By adding the free line with this offer do I have to pay additional taxes? I heard that taxes included plans do not incur additional taxes.

Anyone can confirm?

I did today and it worked. I haven't got the sim yet for the free line added on 09/18. I got the sim shipped and a number assigned to the free line. Got an AT&T number to port from ebay and called 611 and it hardly took 5 mins to finish the porting and got the 3 text msg as well immediately.
