*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I have Simple choice 2 line for 100 SCFUTTBD and was able to add this free line before midnight yesterday. Just got the 1 free line few months back so now I got 4 lines now. What is Tmobile trying to accomplish with these free line give away? Anyone knows the string attached to these freebies? Besides sending one phone to my kindergarten kid to school any creative ideas on putting these extra phones to good use? car GPS tracker? Body cam? NAnny cam? rent-a-phone?Mobile
The strings attached is either you cancel it and you lose the free line, or you staying with t-mobile if don't want to loose it. Or perhaps they want to increase their customers count.

If discount doesn't stick, you can contact T-force and get credits.
I think if it doesn't stink I rather cancel. I rather not keep calling them to get credits if I don't really need the line (planning to pop the sim into one of the free T-Mobile hotspots I have and give it a relative without internet to use for web surfing); don't want to bother T-force too much when 3 of the reps already told me my plan is not eligible even though my coworker got it and I may get it (🤞)

Got it. I wasted too much time with T-force/TEX as well so I ordered the SIM from online myself after switched to new plan.

You may still be eligible, depending on how that line was cancelled.

For lines added purely by accident, T-Mobile can cancel them with a "no install" designation, which doesn't actually count as a cancellation for promos.

It may be worth hitting up T-Force (the only group I would trust with this question) and ask how it was marked in the system, and if it will prevent you from taking advantage of the promo.

I would probably advise against using the "no install" name, though - I've done that in the past, and they definitely seem to get a littler more tight-lipped about things once they see that. Just tell them your issue, and see if they can check in their system to see.if that specific cancellation will affect it. If not, ask if they can provide a reason why that is versus just a standard cancellation.
Thank you for the info really love reading others experiences and gain some knowledge at the same time. Look like they screwed up on my bill again so will hit them on T force in Facebook messenger I assume? Never used T Force before. Either online chat, text or direct 611 call. Will update if any good news come out of it. Thanks again for the info.

Free voice line doesn't have the data plan? When I was talking to customer care who was adding the line to the account said it will have the same plan as my current plan. Is that not the case? Thx

The free line has the exact same features for voice and data as your other *paid* lines.

So, in my case, I have SC Unlimited ( unlimited voice, unlimited LTE data, 7 GB/line tethering at LTE, yada yada yada ) and my new *free* line ( including all the other free lines I have accumulated over the years ) have the same exact feature set.

Hope that helps! Smilie

You're welcome. I don't know if the group handling contacts via Facebook as the same as via Twitter. I always contact them via Twitter and usually have good results.

I was really late to this thread. I got the free line added last night just before midnight. Can anyone point me to the $250 rebate details? I can probably still port a number to meet the requirements of the deal is still active.
Yes, you should still eb able to port-in the number, I think you have 14 days. Here is the BYOD thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/14353982-t-mobile-byod-activate-new-line-of-service-port-in-a-number-get-250-prepaid-mastercard

Question - is it possible to re-assign an existing number to one of the new lines?

E.g. I'd like Line 1 w/ number 1234 to trade numbers w/ Line 4 that has number 4321. Assume answer is no, but wondering if I could move an active line to a free one and save a few bucks w/ the Kickback discount that exists on Line 1.

According to the reps, that doesn't mean it will stick when the system do its audit. I had that plan and switched to NAFUTT4.
I'm on the same plan you have before. Do you think is still possible to switch to NAFUTT4 plan now? I would love to switch as the 10SCFM4 plan kind of restrict to some of the promo that they run now and then. Thanks!!
