*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Added free line on 09/18, sim shipped on same day thru UPS Mail Innovation. I am yet to get the sim, but a number is assigned when the account is activated.
Once you get an e-mail with subject " Your account has been activated: order xxxxxxxxx363", then call 611 and have the porting complete and submit the rebate.
Thanks for all the info. I assume you didn't get the text for the rebate submission since the line is not active or you chose a diff number to receive the rebate submission confirmation and the claim link? Thx

My coworker and I are on this plan (10SCFM4). We both have a 15% corporate discount 2ith this plan. He asked multiple CSRs and they all said he was eligible for the free line. He ordered it on Friday, got the sim card on Monday and after he activated it, the promo text "2020 Line on Us 2" showed up on his account for that line.

I chatted with T-force and the first rep said I was eligible, the other 3 reps (I chatted multiple times) on T-force said my plan is not eligible. I went ahead and added a line (sim card) online on Wednesday. When it shipped on Thursday, I got the following text. So it looks like I may be eligible too.

Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount from T-Mobile as long as you maintain eligibility. View http://t-mo.co/activity for account details.
According to the reps, that doesn't mean it will stick when the system do its audit. I had that plan and switched to NAFUTT4.

a) You could spend $7 extra on ebay and get a port-in number to get the $199 discount with the SE2 promo.
b) You could spend $7 extra on ebay and do a port-in and then do the $250 BYOD rebate and buy the phone from Apple
I was really late to this thread. I got the free line added last night just before midnight. Can anyone point me to the $250 rebate details? I can probably still port a number to meet the requirements of the deal is still active.

Thank you.

You're already on a plan? As far as I'm aware, the free line offer that ended on the 17th was only for new customers opening a new account with 2 or more paid lines. It was not applicable to customers that already had an account.

The offer that started the next day was for both new customers adding 2 or more paid lines, or current customers with 2 or more lines.

It sounds like you're only eligible for one free line, not two, if you were looking to add these lines to a pre-existing account.

Is there something I'm missing here?
I originally had only 1 line. I could add 1 more line to get the 3rd free. Then add free 4th line on 9/18.

Lines added after the free line is added can be cancelled without impacting the free line correct?

For example I added the free line yesterday. I can't cancel any of the existing lines for 1 year otherwise i would lose the free line. But if I add another paid line and then cancel that line in a few months, it shouldn't impact the free line, correct? This paid line was not there when I added the free line. So it shouldn't impact the status of the free line. Is that correct understanding? Thx
Shouldn't, no. That's how it worked for prior promos.

I have Simple Choice plan - soc FUTTVN and I was told that 5lines max. I could not add free line yesterday. Is that right? How can I check max line?
I called yesterday 2 times...

1st: "Expert" initially said I qualified for the line, but then when he attempted to add it, he couldn't. He said he had asked a supervisor why he couldn't process it, but ultimately that my plan only allowed 5 lines max.

2nd: "Expert" was able to add the line and place an order for the sim. My order confirmation shows the following:

SC Fam Unl TT 6 incl/up to 10
BYOD 3in1 SIM Card
ASSISTED SUPPORT
SC 6GB DATA & SMHS

Based on the above, I supposed the SOC FUTTVN can have up to 10 lines. HTH

BTW, I thought the line would get the same data as my line with free data (up to 2GB), but the "expert added the 6GB for $15. TIA

Question for the experts on here: should I call and have them remove it now and try later to match the free data or leave the order alone and do it later?

Absolutely call/chat and make sure this is changed (unless you're ok with paying extra).

Older one plus promo plan with insider hookup, 7 lines total, 3 free, 3 lines ended up with kickback since I use free lines for data, add $2 for Netflix, total is $106..for 7 lines... Gotta love it.. I added the free line to my account last night. Got an email that SIM has been shipped. How long does it normally take for the new line to show up in my account?

Free voice line doesn't have the data plan? When I was talking to customer care who was adding the line to the account said it will have the same plan as my current plan. Is that not the case? Thx
some of us had promo data that doesn't carry over automatically. the reps can copy that promo over to the new line

Ok thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll give it a month and cancel if that happens. Don't really need the line

I have Simple choice 2 line for 100 SCFUTTBD and was able to add this free line before midnight yesterday. Just got the 1 free line few months back so now I got 4 lines now. What is Tmobile trying to accomplish with these free line give away? Anyone knows the string attached to these freebies? Besides sending one phone to my kindergarten kid to school any creative ideas on putting these extra phones to good use? car GPS tracker? Body cam? NAnny cam? rent-a-phone?Mobile

If discount doesn't stick, you can contact T-force and get credits.
