*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

You can test it on your own. I trust the 3-month version
If you're referring to the length of time you must keep all your lines before canceling, it's absolutely 1 year. Cancel a line earlier and you'll lose the free line.

Typically once the USPS label with tracking number is created by T-mobile, the sim ships quickly, and arrives in 1-2 days via USPS in a small padded envelope.

That being said, when I did the deal this time around, my sim wasn't shipped as scheduled until I checked up on it. I ordered my sim 5 days ago, and that same day received an email that my sim shipped, but no tracking number. I waited 2 days...nothing. So I contacted T-force, and they created a shipping label with tracking and shipped it immediately. I received the sim the next day. I requested a $10 credit for the inconvenience, and the T-force rep applied it to my account without hesitation.
Thanks for the info. I have the tracking number, but it doesn't show anything yet. It is using UPS Mail Innovation.

Yeah, takes some time. I'd say give it thru Monday for the system to refresh with the update.

Woo-hoo, my line was activated today in the afternoon after the sim card shipped in the morning (I ordered it online 2 nights ago) and my account just showed this in My Promotions

$20 2020 Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)

I know my plan 10SCFM4 is not in the list but after my coworker got it, I had to try it. I hope it sticks. I have a spare PagePlus number so I'm gonna port that number in (BYOD) on this line and get a $250 Mastercard
Great news! Applause

That's a different 3rs line free offer. It's much more restrictive.
Where do you see this offer? Thx

Sorry, I was mistaken. The assumption was that another free line deal had begun for new customers/single line customers only, which often happens just after free lines/BOGOs for everybody.

What I meant (and should have been clear about) is that the offer ended on the 24th. Any free line promotion appearing on the 25th or after is either a new promotion limited to those new/single line customers on Magenta (not the one open to the majority of customers), or a cached page showing the old promo, which is expired. I just assumed the former.

Sorry for any confusion.

You can cancel lines after 1 year. Not sure about suspension. Personally, I always err in the side of caution.
Hasn't it been said this add a line promo states any cancellation of lines will lose the credits on the free line?

That's based on the customer-facing terms. This is the same as it's been for at least several prior promos. Terms used to clearly state 1 year, but haven't in a while.

According to T-Force, it's the same 1 year term as it's always been.

I am not referring to cancellation. The original guy asked how soon can he port in a number from other T-Mobile account to replace the free line number. I did call them to confirm. If you port in a number from other carrier, you can do it right away without losing the free line. But if you are porting from T-Mobile, they don't allow you to do it at the time you open. The only thing you can do is wait for three month then port in that T-Mobile number.

So if I have a relative on Metro after 3 months I can transfer their number to this free line?
