I received a postal mailing from SiriusXM with this offer to activate a radio in one of my vehicles that has been inactive for some time. I cannot say this is not targeted, but worth a shot if you are eligible, so YMMV

"Now is the time to turn SiriusXM back on."
$2.75/mo. for 3 years - Pay $99 up front; fees and taxes apply. No cancellation fees.

Go to siriusxm.com/deal152 or call 1.877.647.3002 now to reactivate your radio today.

1. You need to know your radio ID and your existing SiriusXM Account number to be able to see the offer, as these are required fields to fill in on the landing page. I can't help you with your account number, but finding your radio ID is available here:
https://help.siriusxm.com/app/ans.../a_id/4541

2. I was offered the 3YR-$99 deal after entering the required info. To see the 5YR-$149 deal, do this:

Go to the deal landing page via the link below and enter your radio ID and Account.
In your browser, click on the URL in the address bar and edit the URL as follows.
Near the end of the URL you should see "Sweeps_Sel-03-yr-for-099_"
Edit (only) the "03" in the URL to "05" and refresh the page.
At least in my case, I was then presented with the 5YR for $149 offer ($2.50/mo).

For me, these offers were for a XM Select subscription package with digital access.
As always, YMMV. I did not complete the process fully since the only inactive radio I have is for a car I am going to sell, so I did not bother. Maybe this will help you if interested.

Forgot to mention the offer may end on 10/5/20.

can I activate this on a leased vehicle? If so, what happens after I return it in about 19 months? will they let me transfer it to the next vehicle?

Thanks!

Who wants to take one for the team to find out if canceling a current account makes it eligible for this deal?

yes, you can xfer easily, just did so with one lease to the next

its tied to your account and radio id.
so when you get a new lease, just advise the new radio id and synch to account and deactivate old one

another question: if the wife is listening to XM while driving, can I also listen to it on the XM app my phone in my office?

Thanks!

I once listened to that for an entire 10 hour road trip, both ways.

I also did that in a rented Hertz minivan driving from NYC to Toronto. Mostly because I wasn't really listening... but just wanted to have some background sound as I drove the boring interstate at night. Smilie

I haven't had an active subscription for about 8 months, and this didn't work for me unfortunately.

Perhaps the vehicle needs to be 10 years old.

No go for me. I have an active radio and an inactive one on my account.

The one without service has been inactive since the free trial ended in 2017. (Bought the car used then, so now 7 years old.)

Yes, you can listen via satellite and via app streaming at the same time. Just can't do multiple app streams at the same time.

I love it, but I think it really matters if you value the "radio station" format, i.e. live hosts and programming. That's a big part of the service. But it also integrates Pandora stations that you can choose.
