KOBALT 30-Gallon Two Stage Portable Electric Vertical Air Compressor. I was lucky to grab this last year at $125, and I just saw that it's on clearance at $291. It's reg. $529 and sometimes on sale for just under $500. Note that this is a oil-lubricated, two stage pump and not very loud.

This looks like it's very ymmv since most of the stores near me are still at the full price. This is a great mid size compressor if you can find one.

Found one for $200. The sfcm @ 90psi is only around 4. Not sure how this is $500 regularly.

Full price in DFW, no clearance indicated. I actually looked at this one earlier this year - my 20 year old Black Max compressor was just too loud for the often late night suspension work that I had to do in Feb. This one met me needs for size and footprint, but the cost was too much. I also thought the specs seemed a little light on airflow given it's size.

I ended up getting a deal on the 26 gal Kobalt Quiet Tech compressor, and I have been very happy with it. I added high flow fittings, and a longer drain line and for my needs of limited auto repair in the driveway it does a great job. Haven't had an issue yet with breaking loose rusted suspension bolts and axle nuts. Bonus, I can't even hear it running from inside the house, unlike my old one which could be heard a block away.

Look in the specs, it list a couple different cfms at different psi's. The 90psi rating is what you want to know, not 175psi.

I had to dig for it so I thought I would share.

So a thumbs up, I grabbed one. While i looked around they also had a 60 and an 80 Gal for 441 and 499 respectively. The 80 is overkill for me or I'd have upgraded.
