TMo pushing hard to close out Q3 with big numbers.

That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

What these really mean?

It certainly doesn't mean that if you canceled, just reactivating makes you eligible for the rebate, because port-in from another carrier is required.

1. Can this free line port in BYOD be done at Costco? 2. If so, will it stack with costco's BYOD $100 gc promo?

I think the terms are referring to the internal process involved while activating a new line with port-in.

Here's what the chat rep said:
"Yes, since we will add a new line first, T-Mobile will assign a new number for the new line. Then while the new line is being added in the account, the BYOD can be processed at the same time by providing the IMEI of the device to be used. You can have the IMEI by dialing *#06#"

i agree that the wording on the terms is a bit misleading where I would think that I can get a new number first and then port-in a few days later, which could create a problem with the promo. Just make sure you provide the port-in info and device IMEI info, all while activating the new line itself

updated the title.. thanks..

wonder if these 3 can be stacked.. especially because the promotional website is different for each of them

1. Register for 20% off hook-up at insider.t-mobile with the number you are going to port-in
2. Open a new account at costco by porting this number
3. Submit rebate for costco gc at mypromochoice with costco offer code
4. Submit rebate for t-mobile vgc at promotions.t-mobile with t-mobile offer code

and hope that it all just works.. LOL

update: this promo is not stackable with Costco

Have your (or anyone here) done this? I just chatted with a rep and they said the free line offer is separate from the BYOD port in offer (and thus would be adding 2 lines).
