That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

do you need to keep lines active until you receive Costco GCs or can cancel service once receive $250 GCs.

New to T-Mobile, what is the 20% hook up. TIA
You can cancel the lines for Costco once rebate status shows pending. Also 20% hook up requires a code from a employee. Check out post here on SD or Reddit.

I have 2 lines from Cricket ready for port in. Would this be the best course of action:

1. Go to Costco and open a new account, port in one line and register for both Costco $100 BYOD and T-Mobile $250 BYOD.
2. Next day, port in 2nd line and qualify for free line on us + $250 BYOD

What's the cheapest plan I should sign up for this scenario?

Did you find a answer to your question yet?
Can't seem to get any documentation that indicates a minimum time needed. But then I suppose at the very least, you'll have to wait to get the prepaid card in your possession.

The concern is, what if you cancel after received; and then the charge your post paid account for the amount? Then it's pretty much a debt collection if it's not paid since they have all your info.

I suppose contacting them is another option... but not interested enough to do it LMAO

Many people have asked whether prepaid qualifies and I guess the answer is no.

Many people have asked if the Costco deal is in-store only and I guess the answer is yes.

Just doing a recap.

I have a line with ATT. Employer pays for data plan. I have Iphone XR and Iphone X unlocked (att). Do i need to go to Costco to port in to Tmobile to get $100 + $250 gc promo? Then, I would like to add my kid number for free line promo. Do i need to go to costco for this deal? How long do we need to stay with Tmobile? I guess, we can also go for free iphone offer after getting rebate card?

Thanks

So i have Tmobile One and added the free line yesterday. Basically to get the $250 i would have to buy a number from ebay, speak to rep and request to port that ebay number to the newly opened free line?

So anyone confirm if buying from ebay works.. do we have to worry about pre/post paid accounts?

The TForce rep told me that you cannot combine the 250 rebate with the free line. Are they just misinformed and I should go ahead and port in and submit anyways?

Any body faced this ..I have 8 lines on my TMobile one and for adding this free line they are saying they can't extend my current plan I will have to move to magenta which is costing 50 bucks more for the same amount of lines I have currently
There is another TMobile ONE plan that allows for more lines. You should be able to switch to that one, and it does not cost more than what you have now.

The other plan is the 9-12 lines one. You need to find a CSR who knows how to do the switch. The issue is whether that CSR also knows how not to mess up any promotions that you may have on your existing account (e.g, kickback, free lines, etc.)
