That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

When did T-Mobile sims become $30? T-Mobile rep on Twitter said I could still port into post-paid even though I ordered a prepaid sim on the 17th but the sim would be $30.

Ran into the same problem. Credit check turn to "Looks like you're a Sprint customer..."
Yep, if you have a Sprint account that you can still log into then you'll need to go to a store and let the agent deal with the issue. The way I see it, it's still a money maker but not as good if the store charges you $30 per line to activate.

Worst case: (Magenta Plan with 4 lines)
Activation fees: 4 x $30 = $120, plus taxes & fees.
3 months of service: 3 x $140 = $420
Rewards: 4 x $250 = $1000
Net Profit: $1000 - $120 - $420 = $440 (less taxes on activation fees)

Best case: (Magenta Plan with 4 lines)
Activation fees waived at store, no charge for SIMS.
2 months of service: 2 x $140 = $280
Rewards: 4 x $250 = $1000
Net Profit: $1000 - $280 = $720, plus any extra offers, discounts.

I'm still trying to decide whether I want to go to a store and do the deal. I'm not real crazy about the Metabank Virtual GCs which you can't convert to cash easily or use in a real store.

The SIM is $10, but they can charge $30 activation fee, which is usually waived if ordered online without a rep's assistance.

The only catch is that once you become a T mobile customer you will never receive any good offers again. T mobile bends over backwards to get people on their network and sandbags their current customers with crappy offers..
Lol, I haven't stopped taking advantage of all Tmobile deals that current customers get. Like this one,250 gc, 3 free lines over last couple years, traded in an old Note 8 for a free one plus 7t , got a free a71 5g plus a 200 gc last free line. There were a few other phone deals I took advantage of early on too. If you can't find Tmobile deals as a customer, you ain't lookin'.

What do you do with the free lines? Is there a max to how many lines you can have? What monthly fees are needed to keep them? I'm assuming you lose out on credits (for your free A71... etc) if you cancel it. This looks super slick (porting in a $5 Ebay number), but I can't seem to think there's a catch.

This isn't hot — this is smoking. Another free line, $5 ATT number from eBay ported in, and $250 GC, all completed through their iMessage business chat while eating a breakfast burrito and sipping coffee at the kitchen table. Man, I am *so* thankful I jumped ship to T-Mobile last year.
Can you elaborate on the $5 att number from eBay port in? Thanks a ton

Wow I just activated four lines with bring your own device at Costco to get $400 in gift cards, can I also take advantage of this? I just signed up for T-Mobile 2 days ago and I know there is a remorse period. Does this mean I can get four $250 gift cards this way?

I was skeptical at first, but Ive be with them 3+years, never got screwed once. Any issues I ever had with billing were quickly resolved with tforce. This one was really easy. As far as free lines, great for phone in radio and texting contests! 👍😁
And don't forget the 20% off for life insider.
They goofed once early on in my favor... Sent me two $750 gc's as opposed to one.. Shhh

So port in from AT&T or Verizon MVNOs will not qualify for $250? Any insight?

If so that's the deal breaker.
