That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

What you say don't matter. Any number can be ported as long as you own it. What matters is would rebate validation system flag or reject rebate, if number is not from mentioned cariers. These automated systems can easily see/determine atleast if number is mobile or landline.
Google voice numbers are type=landlines. Try using with Zelle or some banks and you 'll see what I am talking about, if it didn't make sense already.
Just going with this:

There's no definite info on which plans qualify for this offer. I just used Magenta as a "safe bet" because it's not the cheapest.
Smart to go with the safe bet and Magenta. How would we find out what plans are eligible? Essentials would be nice of course. Also, people need to realize this will NOT work with any MVNO.

You must port in from" AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Spectrum, Claro or Xfinity". Tmobile Prepaid doesn't work either.

T-Force response on this:

"It looks like only ATT, Verizon, Claro, U.S. Cellular, Spectrum Mobile, or Xfinity Mobile lines would be eligible. Cricket may be a sublet of ATT but it wouldn't meet the eligibly for this promotion. "
thanks, good to know.

I am actually trying this through Sprint. They have a port in deal on an iphone pro 11. I am on the phone with them now and they have said that the phone port worked. Hopefully it will go through

Wouldn't the savings be greater if you picked essentials plan?
Is essential allowed for the rebate?

I'm kind of busy so haven't had time to dig around. The previous T-mo deal clearly spelled out which plans qualified.

This is BYOD aka bring your own device, porting your existing number from an approved carrier, and get $250 in 8 weeks.

Past on previous comments, the approved carrier list = AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Spectrum, Claro or Xfinity

Doesn't seem like a great deal to me. I have to port in a number from another carrier, and BYOD so no free (or discounted) flagship phone, and all I get is $250?

I guess if you were already set on leaving Verizon or ATT and had a decent phone and couldn't find any other deal on TM that suited your situation, then $250 is OK...better than nothing!

What am I missing?

Will T-Mobile also help pay off any remaining device installment payments? I still owe more than $250 on each of my iPhones.
