That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

How do you ensure that number from eBay is indeed AT&T number and not from AT&T MVNO?

Any other port-in is a YMMV. Just spend the $7 on eBay to ensure qualification.

The seller on eBay is fairly quick with delivery.

That would be great. But I guess it does not make sense to me that T-mobile would offer a $250 "BYOD" deal and then allow it to be stacked with a deal where they provide a new device via the "T-mobile On Us" promo where they are subsidizing the phone.

I am debating whether to try it since I have seen conflicting info. I just would not want to jeopardize losing the $250, so I will probably play it safe with just the $250 deal.
You missread the context of my message. Free line offer stacks with 250 promo. 250 promo does not stack with free phone.

Do you really think they are going to give away a free line and a $250 gift card for that free line? That seems a little rich don't you think? I mean if it does that's awesome. But just seems unlikely to me.

Well depending on your plan, the last free line promo stacked with free iPhone and this time stacked with free iPhone pro. That's worth more than 250.

anyway port-in can be done online, or do i have to call in? Also, do I purchase the plan and sim cards first, before calling to port-in?

Once you get the number, punch it into this website to verify carrier.

I know that, but that site shows my Visible number as Verizon Wireless number, so why not port that?

There's no need to have the sim card in hand; it plays no role in the process. I did the port-in and submitted the rebate now and my sim card in still in the mail. As long as you have a phone number assigned to your new line, you can initiate the port-in and submit the rebate.
Can you explain more how did you port in without sim cards. I am a new customer to T-Mobile. In T-Mobile website I can only see to place the order for sim cards, I do not see the port in process. When I had a chat with rep he said, I have to wait to get sim cards to start the port in process.

To port in, you need to know your phone # associated with the new line. That gets assigned somewhere around when the sim card ships. To port, just call in, say you want to port in and replace # XXX-XXX-XXXX. Give them the new phone #, account #, and pin.

Actually after re-reading your comment, do you have a new T-Mobile account you opened? If not, just go open an account and wait for the sim card to ship which likely will be tomorrow if you open an account today.

The thread has grown so big. I see people talking about stacking multiple offers. Can any kind soul please update/correct me on below:
step1: port in at costco for $100 GC(is it still live? what's the expiration date? i don't see it https://membershipwireless.com/offers )
step2: fill in costco rebate and byod rebate?

but how can i stack free line promo if i do step1? are new customers eligible for free line? or how can i stack with insider hook up promo? where can i get insider code?

Just got off a 611 chat and she said the $250 BYOD promo and Free Line On Us promos don't stack. I didn't proceed. Did I just got a rep with bad info?

I just got off phone with t-mobile and not only are they giving me $500 in rebates for the 2 numbers I'm porting from Verizon they're also reimbursing me $726 to pay off what I owe on my phones through Verizon. So can confirm at least that stacks

Had to do instore because today was last billing day with AT&T, couldn't wait for shipping of the SIM. Terrible decision. They charge $30 plus tax for every line. 4 lines costed $120 plus tax, just to port-in, not even considering the plan cost!

The only carrier that I see such higher cost to start doing business with. I know online is $10+tax, still higher than others where SIM is free or like $1.

I was denied at the store and customer service for any refund for this very high activation fee. Not nice.
Crazy, I just ported to att last week and it was free online
