That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Nope it's not a hard pull anymore. It's a soft check now for AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile now and that's a fact. This happened around late July 2020.
What I wrote is a personal experience, and nothing less.
If you are able to do a BYOD w/ TMO w/o a hard pull then, well, you have a different experience.

I am planning on doing the Sprint version of this deal as I already have an account with Sprint.

Planning to port two Visible numbers and two ATT numbers via eBay.

I have several questions. I appreciate the feedback.

1) I have a free line from June promo. Since I am adding these BYOD lines, after adding the free line, it shouldn't impact the free line status when I port out these new lines after the promo. Is that correct?

2) I am planning to use Moto E6 for 2 of the 4 new lines. I bought two SIM kits for Moto E6 back in May from Amazon. "Sprint Sim Kit - Your Phone. Our Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Plans Starting $35/mo. No Credit Check Available. Bonus: Activate Now, Get $100". I am assuming that this won't impact the $250 rebate and this $100 promo is already dead, but atleast I have the SIMs and no need to spend extra. Correct?

3)Is there any plan restriction in the Sprint version of the deal? I have unlimited savings plan.

4) In August, there was discussion on Reddit where some folks were reporting deposit of $250 required per line (even with BYOD) when they were adding new lines to their Sprint account. Has anyone experienced this while doing this promo via Sprint?

Thanks a lot for your answers in advance.

Like I said it changed July 2020. This is a fact. Not experience. Don't spread misinformation. Regardless of byod or financing, it's all a soft pull now. Opened a new account yesterday.

I just got off phone with t-mobile and not only are they giving me $500 in rebates for the 2 numbers I'm porting from Verizon they're also reimbursing me $726 to pay off what I owe on my phones through Verizon. So can confirm at least that stacks
Attention, it does not.
When you try to submit the rebate, it says in red that Carrier Freedom doesn't combine with this rebate. Carrier Freedom afaik is their offer to pay what you owe for your phone.

Trying to get any type of rebate from T-Mobile is like hell on earth. Good luck. I spent hours of my life I can never get back fighting with them. It's a scam
Yup. I'm always prepared to fight. It's unfortunate. If you want anything it's a battle. They ported a att number but ported it on top of MY number. Not the temp number. Hours and hours of battle to get my. Phone number back

The monthly price compared to other options. I'm paying $15/month with Mint.
Depending on how long you stay with Tmobile, this is either free service or a money maker. So unless Mint is paying you to use their service, this is the better deal.

I think there's some confusing issues holding it back. Where to port from. What all it stacks with etc. Definitely a good deal.

How do you ensure that number from eBay is indeed AT&T number and not from AT&T MVNO?
The seller should provide you with the acct # and PIN for the phone number. If you have had an AT&T account, you'd know whether or not the acct # being provided is the right "length" (number of digits).

You missread the context of my message. Free line offer stacks with 250 promo. 250 promo does not stack with free phone.
Sorry for the confusion. I incorrectly typed that the free line offer does not stack with $250 promo, when obviously it does.

I meant to type that the "iPhone on Us" promo and the the $250 promo do not stack. Thanks for the correction.

Just now I am done with T-M chat support. Initially soft pull and if they need to verify identity, it will be hard pull. I shared my Social# and during soft pull, they couldn't confirm my identity. She asked my permission for hard pull and after I said yes, she ran the report and came up with sad news.

So I'm getting a message from my systems showing you have or have had a sprint account recently Frown No worries this didn't hit your credit at all but we will need to send ya in store for a quote to migrate that over. Let me get ya an appointment going Smilie Do you have preferd time you'd like to head in?

Reason for rejection:

So because of the merger you technically were already a customer of our even though you were with sprint before it happened. This means that some of your info is already in the systems so they have to do it store. I can try and find you an appointment today so we can get that done and I'll leave them a note so you aren't starting from scratch.

Final words - Sprint customer are not able to port in through online. It will require store visit but success from store is highly YMMV.

Costco $100 offer is not stackable with this offer. Thanks Grouchy16 for Costco confirmation.

It's a soft pull regardless of whether they ask full or last 4. Barely any reps know this because it was hard since forever. Anyway yeah, if you have a sprint account, they have your ssn already and won't let you open up a T-Mobile account.

Anyway it doesn't matter, sprint has the exact same promo right now if you have an active sprint account still.
