That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Yeah buying numbers from eBay makes this easier for us to use this promo. And to iwheela, yes free line can get $250 promo. It's confirmed on T-Mobile reddit multiple times
I don't think military or first responder qualifies for free line

Yeah they don't, 55+ don't either. It kinda sucks for the people on them because consumer plans have gotten so many free lines, the cost per line is probably cheaper. Especially with hookup

So let's say you port over 2 lines, do you get a 3rd line free for a total of $500 in gift cards?

Or let's say you port over 2 lines, do you get a 3rd line free in addition to a 3rd $250 gift card for a total of $750? Even though you only ported 2 lines?
iwheela
The 3rd (free) line is not automatically added. You'll have to activate it to get it. If you activate it with a new number assigned by T-mo, you will NOT get a $250 GC for it. If you activate it with a ported-in number, then you'll get a $250 GC for it. The $250 is tied to porting in a number, and not dependent on whether or not you're paying for that line.

Needless to say thank you and rep'd! Excellent explanation. Definitely a huge plus in this deal.

Yes on the rebate site you had to enter purchase date + 300BYOD2020 to get to the form to fill out (in March deal anyways). But on the sprint site when ordering service it was about clicking through to the right page with promo as opposed to entering a code
Thanks, buddy. The code was 300BYOD313 (March 13 is when the promo started).

The sprint BYOD page doesn't show any offer info like the $300 promo. https://www.sprint.com/en/landing...:Shop:BYOD

www.sprint.com/offers shows the info about this offer if you enter any date between 9/18 and today for purchase date and enter the code 2020BYOD1.

Thanks

I bought two AT&T phone numbers yesterday for about $7 each from seller ignatto. The account number for those numbers look "right" when compared to my current AT&T postpaid account number.
They're fine to use for this. And the account # look right. And freecarrier has them as ATT mobility. . .I just remember last time using these when I had to go through phone call with porting dept. these "ATT #'s she was able to pin it down further to some Blackwood or some other crazy name for a small MVNO or small Business line reseller of ATT service like Black Wireless was for TMO etc. So yeah you could have a "Black Wireless" type selling ATT business line #'s without selling service, in bulk, to ebay sellers.
That actually seems to make sense (just thought of it).

Its very confusing going thru all the posts. Can some one please post steps to replicate the deal as a new customer. Thank you for your help.

Here is what I am assuming and correct me if I am wrong.
1. Buy ATT numbers from Ebay - 4 of them.
2. Open new account with Tmobile. Order SIM(s) - 4 of them. Pay the charges for SIMs.
3. Beg for inside type 1 code in the meanwhile while waiting for the sims.
4. Go to https://insider.t-mobile.com/, enter the code and 1 phone number you will port.
5. Once sim arrive, active them online, pick Megenta plan (140 for 4 lines).
6. While activating enter code "2020BYOD1" for all 4 lines..
7. Wait for the rebate..

I am I correct or missing anything please.. Thanks
I too would like to know if these are the steps, please. Thanks!
Anyway to get the sim free?

You should check on the 20% insider thread but the only question is whether you need to register the insider code (step 4) before opening the account (step 2). In the previous insider offer, they also recommended registering code before opening account but it worked if you registered the code after (which is what I recall I did). Otherwise looks good to me. The order probably doesn't matter but you should check into it just in case.

That's what I have been asking/wondering. I just checked my Visible (Verizon MVNO) number on Verizon wireless for port-in eligibility, and got a message that you can't port-in to Verizon, because : You are currently a Verizon customer. Contact us if you have questions about your service. In reality, I am not a Verizon customer. So in my opinion legit MVNO numbers would qualify for this offer and might be a better option than these $6/7 numbers from eBay.
