That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Xfinity # should work. It says so much right there in the OP:

Qualifying credit, device, service, and port-in from AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Claro, Spectrum, or Xfinity required

Real question is will TMO throw up a flag for trying to start an account because of recently closed Sprint account. I closed mine on Aug 8th and it wouldn't let me start TMO account online or in chat. "Looks like you're a sprint customer. Please login to Sprint" Anyways the chat rep said if I called in or went into store it could be resolved. But was trying to do it the night before current TMO free line on us promo started on Friday, and thus missed out on the double dip free lines (2 free + 2 Paid) with 20% hookup as well. . .

The question is will they consider him to be a new customer. I am in the same boat hence waiting for Tuxedo1 to visit the store and see how it goes
Exactly this. I just read on the sprint thread that i may need to wait 90 days to be eligible. I think it's only been two months since the sprint BYOD promo ended, which is when i cancelled my lines.

There are 3 people in my house: me, wife, and daughter. My wife and I have the "Sprint curse" with our zombie Sprint accounts and can't do this T-mo deal online. I don't want to go to a store and have to pay $120 activation fee for 4 lines. So this morning I did the T-mo deal using my daughter's info. Back in May, I tried to open her own Sprint account but they denied because she didn't have any credit history at that time, and I had to add her line to my own account. I've been helping her build up her credit history, so now she can have her own account.

I had bought two AT&T numbers on Ebay last week then sold them to a forum member. This morning I bought another two numbers, and together with my winding-down two AT&T numbers I placed an online order for 4 BYOD SIMs with a Magenta plan. The order went through just fine but I forgot/didn't see the steps to provide my port-in numbers. That got me in panic mode.

I tried asking a T-mo chat rep to help me with adding the port-in numbers, but she couldn't help me much because T-mo hasn't provided me with an order number yet. While she was trying to figure out what to do, I got a call from a T-mo rep to confirm some info and process the order. I asked the phone rep about my porting issue and she said it wouldn't be a problem. Once I've received the SIMs (being shipped via 2nd Day Air), put the SIMs in the phones, make a call to 611 from any of those phones, select the option to activate and it'll automatically prompt me for the phone number, acct#, PIN to port in. She said I just need to make one call and provide the port-in info for all 4 numbers. I hope that info will be useful to someone.

I have "hard pull" alerts for all of my family members. This morning I placed an order using my daughter's info, it did a credit check and approved but I got no alerts.

If you order online, they charge $10 + tax per SIM but the activation fee is waived. If you go to a store, they don't charge for the SIM but most likely will charge $30 activation fee per line. That's what the agent at my local store told me.
I placed an order online this morning for 4 SIMs and was charged $40 +$3.68 for taxes.

Hpham, why did you order 4 lines? Shouldn't we get 3 lines and add a free line later?

FYI, Tmobile always ships pre-activated sims with temp nos
just insert them into your device, and you are up and running right away.
you can call in and port-in your nos on sim receipt
also, they auto-begin billing on shipment + 2 days (since they do 2nd day air delivery).
there is no way to change bill cycle or activate service on-demand after receiving sim/device.

The attachment shows how the cost is broken down. You order 4 lines but the 3rd line is free. Although I said in another post that you have to activate the 3rd line to get it because it's not automatically added, that applies to people with existing account.

Here's an analogy: A store has a sale "Buy Two, Get the 3rd One FREE". If you go into the store and checkout with 3 items, they'll only charge you for two. But if someone had bought two items before the sale, the store will not search them out and give them another item free. If those people go back to the store and ask for a free item, then the store will honor the deal and give them one free.

Thanks for your response. how about getting sim cards from apple store (for free) then call to tmo to activate the lines?
