Is Essential plan eligible for this deal?
I don't think it's eligible for the 20% hookup discount but for the rebate it should work. Am I wrong?

You want to deduct $5 from zero ? Big Grin
lol the reason why I ask is because I had two lines and I opened up a free line the other day.

Autopay discount says $15 previously it was 10.

I am porting 4 lines. Do i need to enter 4 different Code 2 for the 20% discount, or will the same code 2 work for all 4 lines? I am asking because when I go to https://insider.t-mobile.com/ it asks for a code associated with each phone number that I plan to port. Thanks.
you pick a primary line from all of your 4 lines. register that line on insider.t-mobile.com

I am very new to this process and when i try to apply promo code while in checkouts for sim cards, it says "Please enter a valid promo code."

At what stage do we need to apply the "2020BYOD1" code.
That code is used when you apply for the rebate at promotions.t-mobile.com

Ordered sim cards yesterday this time, still no shipment confirmation. am 1.5 days mark of the 3 days for the sim card i purchased from ebay (should have bought from a different seller with longer days)

for people who ordered yesterday, have your orders shipped? what time can i expect shipment confirmation? also, i suppose once they ship, i think i can get started with the port -in process? how long does it take to port -in?

Can you absolutely confirm a port-in of a suspended Cricket line worked? Always thought a number to use for a port-in had to be from an active account. Thanks!

NVM: looks like too many unknowns when it comes when porting from Cricekt. On top of that, the carrier checker website spits up "Sprint" for my suspended Cricket number so that's not going to work...
Yes, it's working. I'm using one of the phone with the ported number to type to you. Or were you talking about th gc? The employee said everything ported and it was good to go for the $250. He even gave me the code to register online

1. Add new T-Mobile line. Looks like you're at this step.
2. Port in phone number (from AT&T, Verizon, etc.) to that line once your new line is setup with a T-Mobile assigned number.
3. Submit rebate online at https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ with promo code 2020BYOD1 within 30 days of purchase.

once the order ships, you will get an email from tmo listing the temp nos.
you can likely then call tmo and ask to port tempno1 with newline1, tempno2 with newline2, etc.

I think T-mo pulled a fast one on me. The Magenta 4-line price when placing my order showed $140 with taxes & fees included. But the order details I received today shows $160, with the $20 autopay discount applied.
When a sales rep called me yesterday to confirm my order, she said "Your monthly bill will be $160, taxes and fees included". I figured that was before the autopay discount, so I didn't challenge it.
See attachments.

You mention Code 2 for 20% insider hookup discount. What does "Code 2" mean ... a "type 2" code? If so, don't you want a "type 1" code for the 20% discount as "type 2" codes are for $200 off a 5G phone for new customers?

You can start the port-in process once you have a phone number assigned to your new line from T-Mobile.
How to do port in? I got email with phone numbers assigned, but haven't got the sim yet. Thx
