Can someone clarify how you port your number over once you recieve the sim?
Give them a call at 611 or message them. I called and it was all pretty easy and quick and the port when through in minutes (nearly instantaneous in my case). You'll need to tell them the T-Mobile number you want to replace and give them the new phone #, account #, and account pin.

How to do port in? I got email with phone numbers assigned, but haven't got the sim yet. Thx
See the post above this one. You can go do it now if you have the phone numbers assigned.

My brain is melting after reading #903 comments...

Could someone just sum all of this up?
My GF and her brother have Tmobile, and they are paying WAY too much money.
What is the best way for me to lower their bill and get the $250 / $100 / Free Line / 20% Hookup / Free Phone, etc?

There is so much information in this thread I have no idea what to do.

You mention Code 2 for 20% insider hookup discount. What does "Code 2" mean ... a "type 2" code? If so, don't you want a "type 1" code for the 20% discount as "type 2" codes are for $200 off a 5G phone for new customers?
Correct. The 20% code is "type 1" as per this thread. There is a reddit where a Tmo employee is providing hookup codes, and he calls the 20% codes as "Code 2". Apologize for any confusion. See link below to reddit if you are interested:

Ive been following the thread but still have question, i'm not with tmobile at all past 4 years or so, just aiming at the prepaid mc. Dont need new phones.

1. So the promos I can stack is "250 per port-in", also get 1 "fee line on us" and "20% Off for New customers", is that correct?

2. Not too greedy, I just want port 3 lines (for $750 total) (buying 2 numbers from ebay, and 1 existing visible), the visible line should be eligible right?

3. What would be the cheapest qualifying plan for 3 lines ( or 2 or 4 if nothing good for 3)?

3. So firs thing is create an account? port-in 2 numbers? then port the last number later for "free line on us"?

Thx in advance, also any additional info is greatly appreciated

Here is the sequence
1. Signup Hookup code type 1 using the any one of the numbers you will port. Research this on a separate SD thread about it. I got the code from link below

https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...until_the/

2. You will need 4 non t-mobile numbers that qualify plus four unlocked phones that work on tmo

4. Go online and put an order as new customer under BYOD parting the 4 lines (3rd will be free) . You will be charged $10 per sim (plus tax).
Magenta plan to be chosen (140 for 4) will be 116 for 4 lines after hook up discount

https://www.t-mobile.com/resource...-own-phone

5. When sims arrive. Port in the non att numbers

6. Submit rebate online . Url and promo code you can find in this thread

Hope this helps

Note: Folks have done visible (chat with t-force on Twitter/ FB messengers they will confirm your number as it will come up a vzw) .. keep record of that chat

Is one code good for one line or one account?

Question about ATT numbers from bay. How do we know the numbers were not on Sprint or T-Mobile for the last 90 days? Thanks.

When submitting the promo do I have to use the number I ported in on the registration page that I want to send the reward to? Even though it asked for the number I ported in before that page?

Hmmm, just got off the phone with T-Mobile for my order confirmation. I asked them about the $250 BYOD promotion for the 4 lines.

Rep told me that I can get the $250/line promotion OR the 3rd line free promotion, not both.

Isn't that wrong?

One hookup code per account. All lines on the account gets the 20% discount, even future lines you might add.
