That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

I have two lines with att . Can I add a new line to att in the store and then wait for 24 hrs for activation or less and then switch to t-mobile for 3rd line to avail 250$ benefit . Is that feasible approach ? Is there any limit of transferring number which got recently activated ?
feasible.. no such limitation

Hi OP,
If I register my account via chat instead of doing online ( I have some sim cards with me, don't want to pay 4X$10 ) Does chat rep charge me for the assistance? Thanks.

There seems to be confusion about the 90 day condition. If you are an existing customer and have cancelled (does it mean not ported out?) some lines then reactivate them first before adding new lines for the promo. What if lines were ported out? Does the condition apply then? How? Forcing you to port back in?

There is no restriction about a number being active on Sprint/T-Mobile less than 90 days (and therefore not qualified for the rebate) as long as it had nothing to do with your account. Is this understanding correct?

I have ATT lines but were previously on Sprint and I am unable to qualify so can a different household member sign up and use those ATT lines under their name and still qualify for the rebates?

Only if the ATT lines are more than 90 days old...

I'm getting mixed information. I was planning to do the same but it seems that the numbers ported need to be >90 days away from Sprint. I might do all brand new numbers to play it safe

That's fine, but I already stated that. If you add any lines that have associated discounts you will reset the 1 year deadline plus be mindful of the 90D rule too.

Example: Tmobile offers free on us line again from 12/1/20 - 12/15/20. So now you want to add that Dec's line on us on 12/1 PLUS combine w/ free iphone 12 w/ trade in. Sweet right? BUT first you MUST re-add L6-L8 (which let's say you canceled 10/23/20 1 month from now after you get your 3 rebates).

So now that L9 free line on us w/ EIP discounts will then change your plan. Let's say you sort out the plan change smoothly (which is not easy mind you if you're on a grandfathered plan or not), you must then keep ALL 9 lines for 1 year to maintain all the discounts ... until statement cycle ends in December 2021.
Thx. Let's say the 2nd free line L5 was added on 6/30/20. Now I add new lines L6-L8 for this promo on Oct 1. Does it reset anything with L4/L5 clock? I port out (not cancel) my new lines L6 thru L8 after the promo at the end of Nov 2020. L4/L5 will still be free. Now I can't do a new promo before March 1 due to 90 day rule? Or this rule doesn't apply since I ported out the lines instead of cancelling it? I am not sure if the word "cancelled" is used in generic terms or it meant that you asked TMO to cancel it at the end of a billing cycle rather than porting out to another carrier. If it is meant in a generic sense, then I can't do any promo prior to March 1 2021. I can add a line without any promo though. If I use promo on a new line in March 1, does it reset anything with L4/L5 clock? Or does it still remain at 6/30/2021? In this case, the OP can cancel paid line L3 on July 1, 2021 and L4/L5 will still remain free. Anything wrong with this understanding? Thx

Porting = Cancellation. It's easier to port then you don't have to deal w/ rep shaming you I guess.

If you add any new line w/ associated discounts that you want to keep (50% BOGO, EIP, free line on us, etc.) then your new deadline resets for 1 year (except for a really old Friends and Family on Us Promo where no lines can be ever canceled allegedly ever) for ALL lines exist at the time when that new line was added. So yes, once again, ALL lines exist at the time you add that new line (before March 1) will reset to the new 1 year date ~ March 1, 2022. Plus keep in mind any lines canceled w/i 90D will need to be added back too before adding that new free line (if one's given before March 1). So to recap: if a free line starts on 3/31 then you can add that line as free, resetting the clock. You won't need to add back L6-L8. If you add free line on us before 3/1/2021, you need to add back L6-L8 w/ possible plan change (depends on what you have). In both scenarios, your new 1 year deadline is end March 2022 to cancel any line if you want to keep that free line on us March 2021(+ EIP credits if any)

Sure. As long as the acct # and PIN is correct, T-mo will port in the number. It's just like you've joined their family plan. There's no name assigned to each individual line.
