That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

So I placed an order over the phone to add a free line to an existing account (3 lines currently). Rep waived off the $20 assistance charge but didn't waive the $10 sim issuance fee and shipped it with 2-day shipping option.
What's the next step? Should I wait until I have received the SIM and have called TMO to transfer/port the number over before submitting the rebate code?

Also, how many free lines can I add today? For example, if I were to get another number from eBay, is it possible to add another free line to the account?

Additional info from chat rep:

1. Can be combined with Keep and Switch and free line service promos.

2. New line scenarios that don't qualify:
Lines added to the account via COR or BAN-to-BAN moves (COR - Change of Responsibility, BAN - Billing Account Number)
Lines converted from NCC/SCNC to normal Postpaid (NCC - No Credit Check, SCNC - Simple Choice No Credit)
Lines resumed from cancellation
Lines added after the customer cancels existing lines

3. The offer requires to activate a new line of voice service on any voice rate plan (excluding Select Choice, Value Essentials Voice: Postpaid, and Value Essentials Voice: Business).

4. After activation, submit rebate online at https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ with promo code 2020BYOD1 within 30 days of purchase.

5. Port-in from MVNOs that use AT&T or Verizon network qualify for the promo (Eg:Cricket, Visible etc.) - better to check again while ordering because of contradicting info from different reps

6. Google Voice, Mint does not qualify
I checked with a sales rep just now, the port-in from Cricket doesn't qualify for this promo. I am guessing just not for port-in from MVNOs, or maybe I need to check with another rep? Anyone port-in from MVNO snag the deal?

I thought it's one per account? I actually didn't ask but wouldn't expect it to be more than one though.

Apologize beforehand since I'm sure it's been mentioned but I just want to clarify, can current customers take advantage of the BYOD $250 offer? We're on a TMO One plan with 4 lines, if I had this right I could potentially activate new free line today, give them IMEI of unlocked 6s phone, and port over a AT&T number. That would get me qualified for the $250? Or does it have to be a brand new account with all lines coming from another carrier?

I hope your are looking for T-Mobile port in. If yes, search for AT&T port in numbers at eBay. Boost numbers are eligible for AT&T port in deal.

I purchased from below seller for AT&T no and it was delivered within 10 minutes.

Other than obtaining the att sim, did you have any other hoops to jump thru like create a profile at att.com etc

Can you recommend a ebayer that has a record of quick turnarounds?
nothing else needed. just the sim cards.
i used mobile.wiz and he is very prompt. only thing is his sim card expire in 3 days, so order once your t mobile sims are shipped.

Ok Thank you ..I will try that in T-Mobile store .hopefully they can fix this one ?
I don't get why everybody is saying you have to go into a T-Mobile store if you suffer the "Sprint curse".

You can set it up over FB messenger or call their customer support line. No need to go to a store.

It's been repeated here many times. Message them on Facebook Messenger tell them the issue. They will be able to sign you up that way.

I've contacted both FB and web chat support. In both cases, they asked me to go to a store to set it up because the system says I'm a current Sprint customer. LMAO

That's odd. I told them the same issue and I was able to setup via chat.
