That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Got a question on adding lines to existing account. Originally i had 6 paid lines + 1 free line (7 lines total). The plan that I am on allows additional lines be added at $20/line so I added 3 lines due to the promotion. I just looked and it shows of the 3 lines that I added, 2 lines are paid and 1 line is free. Now my account has total of 10 lines (8 paid + 2 free). I am planning to cancel 3 lines at the end of the BYOD promotion. Does anyone know how would that work? Would it first take off a) 2 of my free lines + 1 paid line or b) would it take off 3 of paid lines or c) 2 paid lines + 1 free lines since those were what added last? Hopefully i didn't screwed myself up with losing the original free line that I had for a long time.

Anyone else in the same boat (discrepancy between numbers reported in the "Bill" and "Account" sections of the my.tmobile.com website)?
Yep. I received the 4 SIMs on 9/23, activated and ported in the same day. My bill (Magenta 4-line) was generated on 9/25 (starting 9/22) shows $140. The PDF bill shows all 4 temporary number, and the Account shows 4 ported in numbers. I don't think the phone numbers on the bill affect the amount.

I'm in a similar situation. See post #1665.

The poster Chirag1317 was able to go in store and get everything fixed. Tmobile store I believe. They they ordered one line in store and will do the 3 others online later. If I can pull away from the TV today (doubtful too much MLB and NFL) I will go to the Tmobile store and try to do the same. We are definitely running out of time though.

I tried calling Sprint 3 times and never once did they have a supervisor available to close out my account. Nor did they ever call me back. Which is what is needed before you can start a Tmobile account. So in store seems to be the best way.

I have an update on this. I did go to a store yesterday. They said they could do nothing for me as they do not have access to Sprint data, and I would have to go to a corporate owned store (vs dealership). That's it. They were not at all interested.
I will probably be filing a complaint in the near future. This is just ridiculous.

Ok my SIM is stuck in UPS-USPS maze and my hunch seems that haven't left TMO yet. Been a week now.

Here are my questions-

1. I have a 1.5 yr old Tmobile SIM. Can I have them activate it to the new line?

2. Do I have to wait for SIM to port over. The facebook t-force person was ready yesterday but the system were down last night. Would this cause any reason for $250 to be denied?

Thanks.

Thanks! So I guess we should really expect the bill to be corrected at some point; either within a couple of days or during the next billing cycle.

I submitted my hookup code on 9/25 and it was approved on 9/26. But I already activated my account on 9/23. Chatted with a T-mo Customer Care today to see if the discount could be applied to my 1st bill, already generated on 9/25 but no luck. Have to wait until 2nd billing cycle. Oh well, late is still better than nothing.

If you submitted the hookup code properly (i.e. before opening the account), then the discount should start with the 1st bill. If it doesn't, contact T-mo Customer Care and ask them to correct the bill or give you back credit on the 2nd bill.

In my case, I obtained/submitted the hookup code after already opening my account, so I'll have to wait until the 2nd bill for the discount to kick in.

I don't know why you and some others got two free lines when ordering 4 lines but I got only one.

Wow that stinks. I have a Tmobile corporate store near me so may try them. Are you giving up or trying another store?

At this point I just feel like filing with BBB. Also, for some reason I have this feeling that the offer will get extended, and after complaining to BBB, they may be inclined to look into this issue and fix it...if you do try, please post here how it goes for you...good luck!

Instead of waiting for sim cards to arrive, I went to a tmo store to see if I could buy sim cards and activate on the spot. They said they couldn't because they have to send a verification text to one of the temp numbers on the acct, which can't be done until sims arrived.

Did this store just not know what they were doing? Chatting with T-force right now to see if they can do anything, but they're responses are slow.

I don't see why they wouldn't be able to transfer sims

What type of service does it show? 2nd-Day Air, Ground, Innovation Mail? Does it show an estimated delivery date?

yes, placed order online with ground shipping
when i called care, order was already marked shipped via ups-ground but not handed to ups yet.
they did not cancel the shipment, since order was already updated to shipped in the system.
so, i will have 4 extra sim cards when they arrive to my door.
Since these SIMs have been already activated with a number, not sure if you can reuse them. Is that correct?

I called tmobile care, and asked nicely if they will allow me to pickup 4 sims in store instead of waiting for the ground package which might take 5 days.
The rep spoke to a nearby store and the store ok'ed 4 sims at no charge. got the 4 sims today from the store, will do porting tomm.
I went to two corporate stores nearby and they both wanted to charge. I stopped by Apple store that was next to the corporate store and they gave me SIM card on the spot. I didn't even enter the store (they are managing the num of customers they allow in the store due to CV19). I will wait till tomorrow and see when the delivery date gets updated. Otherwise, I will go ahead with the new SIM card.

Did you chat/call T-MO care and first asked to update the SIM cards and then asking them to port the numbers? Best is to call or chat for porting? Thx
