That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Hi All, Just want to give update.
- Added line on 23rd, under free line promo.
- Because number would be activated once sim is shipped. got line number on 25th.
- Ported number from att (Bought on Ebay) . on 26th morning. and submitted rebate on t mobile promo website as suggested by OP in wiki
- Bought oneplus 8 5g under promo add aline get 50%.

total break down .

Sim charges when adding free line :- 10$
Add a line and port in discount :- 250$
oneplus 8 5g current price 599$ . with add a line promo came to 300$ .

I think I got a sweet deal oneplus 8 5g for $60. Thanks OP and other for helping
I dont think you can double stack - 250 and 'add a line and get 50% off '
Remember 250 rebate is for BYOD.

Best is to call or chat for porting?
Call the Port Dept 877-789-3106. If you contact Chat to port, you'll just get passed around.

I have 10 lines on my account and can't add anymore so I could not use free line promotion. But I have one line which I been not using for over a year now, can I port a att number to my existing line and take advantage of 250 byod promotion?

If you submitted the hookup code properly (i.e. before opening the account), then the discount should start with the 1st bill. If it doesn't, contact T-mo Customer Care and ask them to correct the bill or give you back credit on the 2nd bill.

In my case, I obtained/submitted the hookup code after already opening my account, so I'll have to wait until the 2nd bill for the discount to kick in.

I don't know why you and some others got two free lines when ordering 4 lines but I got only one.
Not sure how their system works. I placed order on 23rd, received my sims on 25th. Submitted hook up yesterday before porting the line. Then ported 2 lines. Ported 3rd line today. Yet to port 4th one. My 1st bill generated is $155 (no auto-pay and for some reason 1st 3 lines are $130 and 4th line shows up as $25). Under "Account" tab, my monthly total updated today to $96/month including auto-pay, hookup and 2 free lines.

Got a question on adding lines to existing account. Originally i had 6 paid lines + 1 free line (7 lines total). The plan that I am on allows additional lines be added at $20/line so I added 3 lines due to the promotion. I just looked and it shows of the 3 lines that I added, 2 lines are paid and 1 line is free. Now my account has total of 10 lines (8 paid + 2 free). I am planning to cancel 3 lines at the end of the BYOD promotion. Does anyone know how would that work? Would it first take off a) 2 of my free lines + 1 paid line or b) would it take off 3 of paid lines or c) 2 paid lines + 1 free lines since those were what added last? Hopefully i didn't screwed myself up with losing the original free line that I had for a long time.
You choose what lines you want to take off. If you remove any of the new ones, you'll lose the new free one. From my understanding of the terms at least.

I'm curious about this new free line promotion. What date did you add the free lines and what are the free line promotions under your account called, specifically the new one?

I need to add 3 more lines though the add 2 get 1 free "2020 3rd Line on Us 3" promotion clearly says only new customers.

I called to add 3 lines on 9/25. I thought the free line promotion ended 9/24 and was ready to pay 3 lines of service. However, when i looked up my account just now, it showed one of those 3 lines being free.

$20 2020 Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines) --> this should be tied to the free line that i just signed up for
$20 This One's on Us (AAL) (Additional Lines) --> this was my old free line.

Thanks for that info. Although my 1st bill (generated on 9/25) shows $140 for Magenta 4-line and to be autopaid on Oct 13, the Account tab shows $112 with the hookup discount. Don't know if they'll re-generate the bill or not.

Was it a brand new account? I'm hoping I'll get 2 free lines too! Ordered on 23rd but will only receive tomorrow. Are you planning to port in the 4th line later? Do you know if we can port in past the promotion date?

Yes, a brand new account. Hoping to port my last line by tomorrow. Looking at the rebate submissions, last date to port would be 1st October. Unless they extend the offer, don't think it will work after that. see comment from hpham below. you should have 30 days to port in and register

No. You enter the promo code when you submit the rebate request.

Thanks! Appreciate it! I think another user mentioned based on the terms that we may still be eligible as long as port ins take place within 30 days. that said, I wouldn't risk it if anyone could do it before. I am waiting for my att rebates on 1 line so I'll take my chance and port in 1-2 weeks past the promotion end date.

The main thing is to have the new line/SIM activated with the temp number by 10/1/20. Then you have up to 30 days to port in and meet the requirement for the $250 promo.
