I don't know what you meant by "the text line". You need to submit a rebate claim for each phone number that you ported in if you want a GC for it, limit 4 per account.

Thanks! Did you register your account online with the temp numbers or is it recommended to do it after at least one line has been ported in?

Since these SIMs have been already activated with a number, not sure if you can reuse them. Is that correct?
yea, you maybe right. likely useless.
The sim cards i got from the store were not activated on my lines. The web team wants to send me a text to one of my temp nos to validate id. The temp nos/sims are still in transit.
So, I had to go back to store, show ID, and get these sim cards registered on my account.
Then came back home, called customer service, and completed the ports.

The rep I chatted with suggested that I not create a T-mo ID using the temp number because it'll be replaced later. But member myyueng said their system is smart enough to figure out the number was replaced.
Whichever number you use, be aware that they will text a confirmation code to that number before you can continue with creating a T-mo ID. So, you can't do it until you've received the SIM.

The main thing is to have the new line/SIM activated with the temp number by 10/1/20. Then you have up to 30 days to port in and meet the requirement for the $250 promo.
Something has to give you would think with SIM cards in transit after being ordered and not getting them before October 1. That shouldn't nullify one from getting the rebate cards. Strange way Tmobile did things this time around. I have a feeling it's going to be extended.

No matter how long a promo ran, and how many times the deadline was extended, somebody will wait until the very last minute to do the deal.

I appreciate the info AjayRajula, I was referring to the number of posts that get removed when I wonder just why they do it. I thought that even if a link does not enrich you specifically, that if it refers to a private sale, then it is of a commercial nature without compensation to SD, like it would be with a paid ad, so they take it out. I guess there is a fine line. Obviously individual members like us will sometimes post a link to an item that appears to be a good deal on Amazon, and those are not removed. But perhaps SD has an agreement with major etailers. I really have no clue and am happy to be schooled. Thanks
oh ok. I was only trying to kind of reassure noobee that posting a link to ebay seller doesn't necessarily mean violating the terms. i am new here so i just referred to the policy. what you said makes sense. maybe it's a fine line. thanks for the thought process.. Smilie

When will Tmobile generate the 1st bill? After you activate your SIMs or after they start sending out SIMs along with email saying that your account is active?
