Be ready to have another code handy, sometime code has been used. Also you have to do it before port in so the system will have your phone number, address, SSN and email before starting move over.

if i want to activate new account using my own sim, is there any way to avoid paying for sim or phone support fee?
it's ridiculous that i gotta pay them to even become a customer.
Yes, you may be able to do it. If you have sims in hand they activated my lines over phone. In my case I did one line in store and 3 over phone 611 as my account was giving account not primary error

Not possible. The port-in number will be ported in as is. After you've received the GCs, I think you can ask T-mo to replace the number with a new number. But doing that before getting your GCs can jeopardize your chance of meeting the requirements.
Thanks for your advice. I will follow the same.

One more question - I have a 5 year old line which I dont use it for a year now, can I cancel the old line and port this new line. I took advantage of free line in July and sometime in 2016 or 2017 - I dont want to jeopardies any of free lines. Is this possible?

step 1
register for hookup first
step 2
and then port in the number registered for hookup in step 1

Registering with the hookup code BEFORE activating/porting improves your chance of getting the discount applied to your 1st bill. Entering the code AFTER will almost guarantee that the discount will NOT be applied to your 1st bill. Your decision.

I don't know the answer. Maybe someone else does.
