That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

I thought we discussed this in the other thread. It is a bit risky, per the T&C. But many people did $300 promo and we thought that wouldn't qualify. But they all did. If you are risking about $200 to $300 to make $1000, go for it. Maybe within a few weeks you would know if they denied the rebate or not. If you are already doing rebate with TMo acct with another name/add, then you are already ahead and maybe it is worth risking additional $200-$300 for $1000 payout.

No one can give you 100% guarantee on this. If you made good $ with $300 promo and are also in this deal via TMO, then it is worth risking $200-300 for $1000 payout.
Thanks so much. You are right.

Ex Sprint customer (BYOD guys) are eligible. It will requires store visit and credit pull. You will have to go in person, credit check etc will be done and account created.. get the account number.

At least one line needed to be ported ($30 charge for the sim and in-store service charge). The other lines can be done over the t-mobile app -chat/ over phone .. they can waive service fee (ymmv if you ask nicely - for me they did not charge fees). Took me 30 minutes over phone to get my balance 3 lines set up and ported.

Good idea to buy 3 sims from store (or no sim needed if your phone has e-sim)

Multiple of my friends did it.
So you couldn't do it online, as it says you are still Sprint customer? Going to store will avoid that? Are you going o T mobile store or Sprint store? Thanks.

how do you get account number and pin from H2O without buying their service when you port this number from H2O sims to other carrier in 30 days?

This is regarding the 3rd line on us promotion...

I know you only need 2 numbers to get a 3rd one free. If we port 4 numbers and down the road we cancel 1 of them.. do we lose the 3rd line discount even though technically we still have 2 + 1 line? Or is it pretty much you cancel 1 and you lose the 3rd line no matter what.

For example, you sign up with 5 lines and 2 years later you cancel one, do you lose the 3rd line free?
You need to wait 1 year before making any changes otherwise you will lose the 3rd line. However, yes after that 1 year waiting period you can cancel one of the lines and keep the 3rd line free.

You can, port in att number first to setup tmobile account with only 2 lines,. Once insider discount is confirmed, do Change of responsibility for existing tmobile lines to new account with insider discount.
So I've read on Hookup thread etc. when doing a COR, the line loses it's promotions. But they are not clear whether that's the line being transferred (which makes sense and I'm fine with) --or-- the line where the COR is going to.

Ex: both accounts have 3rd line free. # 3 from old account is being COR'd over "over the top" of 3rd line (Free) # on new account

Does the new account still retain 3rd line free? Or does the Cor'd # have to go onto a paid line, i.e. 1,2,5(not free 3 and 4)

All of this after getting $250 rebates.

Uh oh, hope this doesn't affect the #s purchased on eBay:

" AT&T only: AT&T customers may be required to validate the port request by replying to an SMS sent from AT&T. If a customer does need to verify their port with AT&T, they will have 4 hours to respond to the SMS sent to their mobile number by AT&T, and T-Mobile will need to resubmit their port after verification with AT&T.

You'll get a text message from T-Mobile to let you know the porting process started."

Promotions on your insider account will not change as along as you just bring over 2 lines, in your case with 3rd line free it will be total 5 lines.
Promotions on moving lines/account will be gone including any free lines or free device after credit.
You can't port over number by doing COR.

I bought 4 numbers from seller ignatto yesterday. Today I received my sim cards and ported the numbers to tmobile successfully. Hopefully no issues with the rebate now.

Where did you find that info? Many of us, including me, ported in this week with AT&T numbers bought on Ebay and there was no such validation SMS.
