That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

It has been approved. I haven't physically received the money yet. It was part of their $700 deal which was up to $450 to payoff your phone and $250 for the BYOD deal. My phone balance was $408 per phone. So I actually was approved for $1632 plus $1000 for the BYOD deal.
just to confirm, you did the "Keep and Switch" vs Carrier Freedom promo right?

Do we need to put the Sim cards into phones and make sure they register with TM?
Just make test calls with any phone to make sure they are activated and numbers are ported, then you are all good. My SIM cards all came pre-activated already.

didn't exactly get your question. for port-in, the numbers have to come from outside of tmobile. so if you want to replace your 4 tmobile numbers(set1) with another 4 tmobile numbers(set2), you need to first port-out set2 to another carrier(ex: H2O) temporarily and then port them back to replace set1. and you will lose the numbers from set1 because they get replaced.

They said the $250 is not qualified for other discount Ex: carrier freedom...Your $450 to pay off your phone with older carrier means the word "carrier freedom"
Their website clearly stated $700 was the max per phone. It has since been changed to $450 as of 10/1. Initially, one of the phones was rejected due to a clerical error which they approved when I called them. I used that opportunity to inquire about all my rebates and confirmed that all my rebates were approved (not just received). I also received text messages from T Mobile that said I was scheduled to receive my payments in 15-30 days for both the $250 promotion and $450 promotion.

I used the website switch2t-mobile.com

My situation is i have another TMO account (2 lines), just yesterday i have one of the family member to open a brand new TMO Magenta 4 lines account, and port in 4 ATT number purchased from ebay. I wonder after i received the rebate card, can i port or move the 2 lines in my other TMO account to replace 2 lines from the new add Magneta plan (so i can keep the original phone number).
So, i can close the TMO account with the 2 lines, and only stay with the new account with new TMO Magenat plan 4 lines instead.

TIA.

isn't the $450 you need to use to pay off your previous carrier (like ATT if you port from ATT to TMO).. correct?
If i just port in from ATT, but didnt have any device payment balance or still active contract with ATT, i cannot get those reimb, right?

Thanks!

The $450 is to payoff my device. That's correct. Since I only owed $408, that's all I received per phone. You only get the amount you owe. I ported from Verizon.

just port out those 2 lines to another carrier temporarily and port them back to replace 2 of the 4 lines on this new account. also verify with rep beforehand that you won't be losing any free line credits by doing this

Okay, got it, thanks for the advise.
Do you know about COR (change of Responsibility)?
One issue is one of the 2 lines is on EIP, but if i can pay off the device, do u know if it is it possible to move that line to the new plan with 4 lines and continue to receive the bill credit?

THANKS MUCH!

I talked with support last night and they said they currently have no end date for the $250 BYOD promo.
