That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

I submitted on 9/30 for the Keep and Switch deal and those were approved hours after I submitted.

Thankfully my discount for 20% off insider code shows up as applied in my account today. Took about 2 days from my port completion. 3 days from my initial activation.

From the time I submit the BYOD rebate for $250, how long until it is approved?

I submitted it on 9/30 but I haven't heard anything.

i have 10 lines (3 of them free) and see $40 autopay discount. looks like i got the discount on a free line too. note that autopay discount is up to 8 lines and capped at $40

Magenta® Plus
Includes $40.00 AutoPay Discount
Thanks. The AutoPay setting is per account and not per line, correct? I see autopay discount on the 3rd line which is free. So it should have applied to this free line from 9/24 as well. Hope changing SIM didn't mess anything up. Thx

The terms say 6-8 weeks after submission to receive the GCs. It could be as soon as 30 days if T-mo pays out early as they did in the previous BYOD deal in Apr-May.
If you use the tracker to check status, it'll just say RECEIVED.

It takes a PhD in Mathematics to figure out T-mo detailed cost calculations. I gave up trying to analyze them. I just go by the total bill amount to see if I'm being overcharged or not.

I hear you. My brother who just opened a T-Mo acct didn't really know what's going with the bill so I was looking into this for him. Plus I added a free line on 9/24 and was planning to use it since they have hotspot. He is going to keep this acct so having this free line was great (even w/o BYOD promo) and that way I don't have to pay. I use Hotspot quite often. My Sprint lines don't have hotspot which is a pity. So I have been accessing his acct to make sure everything goes smooth and that he gets the promo he was offered (he got several iPh11 free with trade-in, +$100 for each line that he transferred from Vz and 20% insider discount.) I want the line to be free so that I don't have to pay $5 to him every month. :-) Thanks

Okay, got it, thanks for the advise.
Do you know about COR (change of Responsibility)?
One issue is one of the 2 lines is on EIP, but if i can pay off the device, do u know if it is it possible to move that line to the new plan with 4 lines and continue to receive the bill credit?

THANKS MUCH!
i think you can keep your bill credits with COR. so if you move those 2 lines to the new account, you will end up with 6 lines. if you then cancel 2 unneeded lines, you might lose your free line.

edit: alternately, you could move 2 lines you need from your new account to your old account and see if you can get one of them free. and then close out the new account.

I assume first you have to pay off with the prior carrier, then submit the payment as proof? Or what did you need to provide for keep and switch?

I did the AT&T BYOD deal 3 times. Their bills are complex but consistent, and I could figure them out. T-mo bills are so inconsistent among customers with the same plan/lines. Some "got lucky", some didn't.

Is there any portal to check the T-M reward status like Sprint Rebateshq site?.

You're supposed to take a screenshot of the amount left. I didn't know the BYOD $250 stacked with the Keep and Switch so I did it out of order. For ATT, I paid off the device, waited 24 hours, then submitted the unlock phone request online. Afterwards I realized I could get reimbursed so I went and printed out a copy of the Device Payment Installation History and it showed everything with the amount and the date. I submitted that PDF and it was approved within a few hours.

I saw somewhere that you have to be at least 3 month minimum into the device payment plan but I can't remember where I saw that.

I saw those terms this morning when I was searching for info on Keep-and-Switch. That requirement is to prevent people to run out now and buy a new phone with AT&T or Verizon then submit to get a reimbursement.

Go here: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/...k-a-rebate
But all it'll tell you up to the day before your rebate is ready to claim is "RECEIVED".
