I wonder if someone willing to share the tracking number for the 20% hookup that got approved within 24-48 hrs of the porting. So I can prove to them there's definitely a problem with my hookup.

My status stuck on "Received" I saw that someone posted the description for 20% hookup is "service discount" while mine is "discount" only...

(I always got some billing problems with T-Mobile)
I think you might be correct on that theory. My tracker also shows "discount" only and I've already received my first bill and it doesn't show the hookup discount. It has been stuck on the "received" status too for over 3 days. Do we just call customer care to check on this or is there a separate number for the promotions department?

It will take 2-3 billing cycles for the discount to appear. First bill wont have it.

I believe the one with "reward type: discount" requires follow up... while the one with "service discount" will automatically get approval....

Your status didn't change because they manually apply the discount to your account
thats an interesting theory, but you still need to call. thats what im saying. dont worry about your status. just keep calling to check if additional follow-up is required. who cares if you see "reward type: discount" or "service discount". the fact is, you dont see your discount applied. aka "maybe theres a problem".

my hookup was applied within 12hrs on the same day. got the text. i didnt do anything extra. so was my submission manually reviewed vs auto? why does my status still say "received"? dont know. dont care. after a week, i call and check what they see internally. they tell me if its still pending or denied. for my hookup, i didnt call, but everything else, i always do.

and if your theory is true, you need to call anyway. you see "reward type: discount" vs "service discount" right? well, based on your guess, youre gonna have to call anyway.

Thats normal. From previous promotions, it would stay in 'Received' status right until the MC is issued.

When you put the SIM in the phone and turn it on, T-mo should send you a text saying "Your phone doesn't have the correct settings....." and some attachments. which you touch INSTALL to install APN/.

Which phone make/model are you working with? If iPhone, I know nothing about them.
Thanks. I mentioned the model number. LG K20 V. When I inserted the SIM, there was no auto creation/population of the APN. I created one manually using the info from the internet. I just wanted to double check if there was a difference in what I had versus what it should be. I also tried Network Force app, but that is not compatible with my device. Thx

Attached are the screenshots from my LG Q7+ on T-mo. I turned off the WiFi Calling. There's no explicit setting for VoLTE but I did some testing and it does have working VoLTE on T-mo, along with LTE Data, SMS, and MMS. After I clicked on Install on the two files texted to the phone, it installed two APNs and automatically selected the top one.

TM generated bill with temp number. Is it possible to regenerate bill using actual number.

Thanks. I had it set to very similar. No change in behavior after I update per your setting. I need to get a better phone for T-Mobile. All my phones are tied up with Sprint promo. Thx

As others have tried already .

I tried to get the store sim assistance fee credited but was only able to get half back that is 40 out of 80 for four lines .

About the bill , they said the hookup discount and auto pay will apply from second bill. So total will be 112 from next bill . I tried phone , tforce and chat . But everyone is telling me the same policy , they don't apply discounts on first bill .

Of the 4 phones that I'm using for this T-mo deal, the LG Q7+ and Essential PH-1 have VoLTE; the LG G6 and LG Phoenix 2 don't.

I already called 3 times before posting. Even the promotions team who transferred me back to the customer care. All said it is processing.....

wait. so you already called 3 times and all said its still processing? so what exactly is your question? i dont get your prior posts about status being "stuck" on received. its not stuck at all. its 100% accurate. everything is still pending.

are you assuming that the promo team is wrong and you think the hookup should have applied ASAP because of other posters? well, everything is YMMV.

like i said, dont rely on the status page. just keep calling. if the promo team already told you its still pending, then youre fine. until they tell you its denied, theres nothing you can do. you cant fight them and claim the hookup code should be applied faster. they need to see a denial in their internal system or the pending needs to go way past 2-3 billing cycles until they are willing to escalate.

tell us your timing. when did you subscribe, port in and applied the hookup code? where did you port in from? ATT? people have told me their denial took a few weeks. then escalated.

Now call again a few days later and tell them the store had promised that assist fee will be waived and to call customer care for that. I did that for my brother's 4 lines and got $120 credit...(10 sim + 20 support fee). I called twice. Got $60 credit per call. He had setup 4 lines in store.

Have a question?
I have both T mobile and Sprint right now, due to not having enough phones and Tmobile doesn't tie your sims to the device, is there a issue if I switch the phone on them? Any issue with later getting rewards gift cards? Thanks.

No. You should be fine as long as your account is active. As someone has posted earlier that you only need one phone for all 4 lines and you can switch sim, phone as desired.
