That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Just want to thank everyone who had helped me to get into this deal. I would like to give everyone an update that i opened my account at the store and was charged $80 for assist fees. However, today i received a call from t-mobile informing me that the $80 was credited to my first bill as i chatted with them regarding the sprint account zombie issue before. I am so glad to have this $80 work out, and i also submit a request to get my 20% promo code applied as it showed denied on my promotion page. Unlike most of SDers, i got in this deal on 10/1 so in theory i wasnt qualified for the 20% hookup. I dont have high hope for that, but i will keep trying and let you know Smilie
What i also found interesting is that in my tmobile app, my current plan shows $112OMGOMG I have no idea what my bill will look like in the next month. but i will see what comes up...

Your next bill will be $112 if you make no changes to your plan/account. You got 1 line free of 4 magenta lines in addition to 20% off hookup

they could manual approve you if you call to complain, ask for an exception....but seems like they did approve you. You can login to account.t-mobile.com, after login, scroll down, click on "view account" should display monthly total, click on that to view the details, should tell you the applied credit to your account/plan

T-mo Billing works in a mysterious way. You submitted your hookup code after the deadline, yet got the discount applied to your 1st bill. I submitted my hookup code on 9/25, approved 9/26, yet they refused to apply the discount to my 1st bill. I called and talked to a rep, no luck.

My first bill is $140 no difference than any other SDers(except the guy who got 2 lines free).
When i called in to ask for the %20 to apply, i did talk to 2 persons. The first guy told me he will follow up with me in a week but he sounds like he didnt know much. And then i immediately talked to a second guy, his name is Mike, who seems to be a more knowlegable young man, he told me he would talk to the promotion team and than give me an update. Mike also sent me a text message to inform me yesterday he is still working on my case though. Thats how i know he's legit

i think youre fine dude. if not, escalate.

1) sprint zombie issue
2) you submitted around 10PM PST. TMO utilizes multiple time zones which is annoying, but its usually PST. if EST, then you dont qualify, but thats back to reason no. 1 above.

I suppose the store did the business acct probably bcoz they get more commission and price was the same. It was a corporate store.

I didn't do double port. I had the original temp assigned and then just asked them to port ATT number. That was it. I will just wait a few days and see what happens. Thx
any follow-up on this? its been a few days so im wondering if the auto pay config issue was resolved.

There was a free line promotion which ended on the 17th, and there was another one which started on the 18th. I got both these promos but I also got a 3rd one which no one knows any information about it. Couple people reported that they got Two free lines from the 18th promo, and I'm one of them. Some other users reported that they already had free lines from previews promotions and they got even free more lines, Tmobile is amazing, well not network-wise but they're definitely better than big Twos.

Yeah, thanks bro. I think the sprint legacy account issue was a big thing, like every employee i talked to know what it is and its been a pain to them as well(esp the sales). I'll probably keep all 4 lines if that 20% applies. If not i can always get rid of 2 lines i dont need, not a big loss there.

wtf. seriously? really appreciate that input. i had no idea there was a secret free line promo prior to 9/18. i thought that had ended 7/6. was there an extension? people who got 2 free lines starting from 9/18 was due to new customers opening 4 lines. some were lucky and got 2 free lines vs 1. but you were already a customer prior to 9/18? no idea how you got 2 free lines after 9/18. can you give us your timeline of events. super curious how that worked out for you.

are you talking about the sprint specific free line? or TMO?

wow Applause sounds like that 9/18 date was the double free line system glitch.

Not Sprint, I'm talking about T-mobile. I became a Tmobile customer on the 17th last month 7:50pm, basically the last day of the deal. I walked to Costco Store and opened 3 lines, free activations and $300 cash back. Next day which was the 18th I went Tmobile Store and opened another Four lines, (BYOD) which qualifies the $250 promo per line (ended Four days ago) Two of the last four lines were free and that puts the total of my plan $160 on the Magenta plus or $130 on Magenta plan, and only $110 with the military discount.

exactly. i believe you have a strong case when there is clearly a known issue. not to mention the 20% lifetime discount may make you a permanent customer so its worth the effort to keep escalating. and also the holidays are coming up. so it may not make sense to cancel after the $250 rebate which would disqualify you from potentially good promos next month. who knows what TMO and costco will do. i would imagine there to be some amazing stacking opportunities for lines + devices + rebates.
