That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I won't use a social networking site/app for anything.
You can call voice, have them call you or use your t-mobile mobile app to chat instead. Lots of options.....

I was able to get it adjusted by using the chat option on the mobile app.
I just chatted with a rep via the t-mobile app. There was some resistance, but the rep adjusted the 1st bill to include the hookup discount. Just in time because it'll be autopaid tomorrow.

Very happy with T-Force.
My initial bill was showing $146 for 4 lines with insider and auto-pay discount.

CSR was very very helpful, I just mentioned I have a question on bill, she reviewed and said "line on us" discount usually appears in 1-2 billing cycles, but she adjusted . Now my new bill is $96
Less than 5 mins I was done. Now online its reflected
For 4 lines, I thought it would be $112 after 20% discount. How do you get $96 . It would be helpful to see the split up. thanks.

Some of us were lucky to get 2 lines for free (for whatever weird and unknown reason). I think that's why this post showed $96 instead $112

apparently first bill does not apply the 20% hook-up, I been waiting for it update the bill but no. Just called in today, 5mins wait 5 mins talk, nicely question the amount difference in the account and the bill and ask if they could possibly credit that, worked for me.
nice. glad you called and got it handled ASAP. often times, TForce does a great job, but I prefer calling and getting things escalated ASAP. chat agents are always helping multiple customers simultaneously. i would rather have someone focused on my issue and getting prior bill credits are worth the call.

i wanted to followup and see if you ever got that hookup code issue resolved. did your first bill pass already? do you see the hookup code applied to your account successfully?
No, I called customer service and they mentioned it might take 1 full month to take these discounts effective.
call again. the rep was not 100% correct. see prior success comment above.

you dont see the 20% hookup yet, correct? when did you subscribe? and when did you submit the code? you should be able to use the promo status checker page and see "approved" or "denied". if it still says "received", call customer care and ask to be transferred to the promo dept. they should be able to tell you that the promo was approved or denied. they can see all the important details. you dont need to wait multiple billing cycles just to verify you have been approved for the hookup. you should at least ask for bill credits.

After the ticket was opened, the Autopay discount issue has been resolved. Looks all good now.

Update: Maybe it was the ticket or the start of new billing cycle that corrected the issue. New bill cycle started today. So can't say for sure if it was the ticket or the start of new bill cycle that fixed the issue.
really appreciate the update. thats useful info for others on this thread. i hate how TMO promos are so sensitive to breaking but as you had correctly noted, the "fix" could totally be the new billing cycle vs manual resolution. however, my bet would be that manual resolution was required after your account got messed up with 3 lines missing autopay. maybe it would have resolved itself but its good that you called. otherwise, maybe you would have called anyway to get missing autopay credits.

how about everything else? you never had any issues with 3rd line free or free line on us? and the 20% hookup remained on your account?

Quote from hpham_53 :
My 20% insider discount was approved on 9/26 but the 1st bill for $140 was already generated on 9/24 (not due until 10/15). I've chatted with two different reps but couldn't get them to adjust the bill to $112.

im glad this was finally resolved for you via chat, but when possible, you really gotta call. i know many in this thread try to avoid human contact and think its much more convenient w/ chat, but that just wastes your time. i have much higher success of resolution when i call. many agents over the phone have more authority and are more competent.

I did 3 lines together (9/24) and added 1 line (9/28), was hoping to get the free line, but read here later they can't combine two offers.

Online account shows price of $96, but shows all 4 lines, and each number says included in plan... maybe I lucked out with 3rd free line even though the 4th line was added 9/28 (past the 3rd line on us), or one of them was the free line on us....

Applied discounts and promotions:
$10 AutoPay Discount
$24 New TMO Insider Voice 20%
$20 2020 Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)
$10 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)
$20 2020 3rd Line On Us 3 (Additional Lines)
dude. this is so crazy. so you got line on us on 9/24 (last day) then 3rd line on us applied 9/28? typically, its the other way around. TMO systems are unpredictable. originally, I had thought this setup was impossible because line on us expired 9/24 and your line on 9/28 should be paid vs free. but it looks like the TMO system gave you the free line promo first on 9/24 because it was expiring then later gave you 3rd line free on 9/28. either that or the free line promo lasted much longer than 9/24.

I had followed the steps outlined in the OP.
20% hookup code registered on the insider website: 9/24
T-mobile account created: 9/25
Sim received: 9/29
Porting done: 10/8
BYOD submission: 10/8

Question:
The promo says 9/15 - 10/1. What does the deadline 10/1 refer to?
Account creation?
Porting?
BYOD Rebate submission?

Also, Do I need to submit a rebate for each number separately? Should I give same address for all rebates or give different address for one number who doesn't live in the same household?
Thanks
Quote from whhv :
I also got the same issue i received my sim card on 10/2, so i am definitely not able to get four lines activated and ported in time.
i opened a line on 9/27 and ported in on 10/2.
it's really confusing said on the main page of this deal
"You must complete port-in and register code within 30 days of activation;"

Anybody who can confirm if i can still get the rebates?
both of you guys should be fine. you guys opened online? and lines/SIMs were activated on or before 10/01? then youre fine. doesnt matter about SIMs inside devices. just submit the rebates. worst thing that could happen is rejection. then you can escalate. both of you guys started before the promo deadline of 10/01. and looks like others have already addressed your questions, but im not sure where you got the 9/15 promo start date.

the screenshots in my prior post makes it very clear:

I plan to keep the service with TMO active with 5 lines. I had previously proposed a couple scenarios with the ebay ATT option being one of them. However, I never found a clear answer as to whether or not I could eventually replace the ebay lines with my actual numbers without messing up the free line promotions, etc.

I ultimately planned to go with the suggested Verizon option, but found out two of my existing numbers can't port to Verizon. So I can lose out on $500 or I can go the ATT route and take the $1000 minus prorated service cost.

I plan to go ATT but just wanted to do one last check to make sure there wasn't something I was missing with regards to qualifying for the promo. So much info flying around in this thread and tons of inaccurate information from TMO reps...

I'm breaking up with Cricket and plan to stay with TMO. With TMO, I have 5 lines plus upgraded Netflix for $107. Never really considered telecom churning...not sure it's worth all the effort with a family plan and probably wouldn't yield as much profit after considering higher per/line cost if splitting up the lines.
sorry for the late reply, but what was your final decision? did you port from ATT via ebay numbers? its great that youre making Tmo your permanent home and breaking up with cricket. porting directly from MVNOs to Tmo is supposed to work, but the T&Cs are not clear. Thats why its recommended to just guarantee qualification via ebay ATT direct numbers vs MVNOs.

technically, the T&Cs do state: "port-in from AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Spectrum, Claro or Xfinity required"

so does that mean ATT MVNOs are OK? im not sure. i would rather not test this because promos have been denied many times for this reason.

i would keep cricket until i port the ebay ATT numbers, get the rebate, then port in cricket after. you will lose some profit while double paying for service, but its worth it. otherwise, you may lose $1k. and keeping double service until the holidays for a different port in promo may be worth it. it all depends on how much youre paying for cricket. you can even use GV to park your numbers.

Most of us get one line free, so the bill is $140. With 20% discount, it's $112. Some lucky people get 2 lines free, so the bill is $120. With 20% discount, it's $96.

No other issue with the promo.

Applied discounts and promotions:

$10 AutoPay Discount
$24 New TMO Insider Voice 20%
$20 2020 3rd Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)
$20 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)
$8 New TMO Insider Voice 20% (Additional Lines)
$20 2020 Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)

Plan is $128 for 6 lines.

One thing that did change in the last few days is Monthly total. It went up by $146. Not sure why. 2 lines are using BYOD, whereas other 4 lines are using devices that have promo and are free after monthly credits. The bill should come out Friday that should confirm what is going on.

Thanks for following up!

I decided to play it safe and go the non-ebay ATT route (Post Paid/non-MVNO). I'm porting from Cricket to ATT and then from ATT to TMO a couple days later. Waiting on the ATT SIMs to arrive in the mail (No activation or SIM charge). I figure if I have the ATT service active for a week during the port process, it'll be a prorated cost of like $35, which is worth it for the end result.

Also, I think I can use the TMO SIMs with the temporary numbers for the 4 lines once I start the Critcket-ATT-TMO port process. This will allow my family members out of state to at least have phone service during the transition.

So in the end, should get close to $1000, plus I did the 4 free S20 FE phones (24 month requirement) and snagged four $70 Samsung credits. TMO service is $107 for 5 lines including the upgraded Netflix. Definitely a step up from the abusive relationship I was having with Cricket.

Yeah, they are crazy. I also chat to inquire what my actual bill is and she adjusted the bill to be $96! I'm still cautious until the 2nd or 3rd bill that I'll have all 4 lines for that amount!

Thanks. I'll check and see if they would apply this to my account. Else it should be ok.

Update on my long pending first bill issue:

My first bill was $168 which generated on 24th Sep. Contacted CS team and went to same to store to make adjustment. But no luck for several weeks. Today I contacted Twitter T-Force and he fixed by bill within few minutes. Now due is showing as $99 for 4 lines for first month. Going forward $112/month.

In my experience, it is better to contact them vis Twitter or FB Messenger. Chat from App doesn't give positive output.
