9 series on up is the way to go for Sony, but this isn't bad if you normally go for cheap low end sets. Prob worth the bit extra over the typical 4 series TCL, the equiv Hisense, etc that seem pretty popular amongst that segment of shopper.

Haha more like asking about power windows or remote locks. I have a 30-year-old roommate who was surprised last week that our plasma tv in the living room didn't turn off when she turned off my ShieldTV. This is such a basic function of TVs now. Even my most budget $200 TVs from a few years ago had it.
