But with this camera, if you have a decent amount of ambient light (street lighting, porch lights, etc.) the picture quality is actually pretty decent.
But if you look at the other thread, the model number is correct: IP8M-2493EB, which is an 8MP/4K dome camera.
Also the images and the detailed description are correct.

can you reduce resolution to 1080p to get 30fps or is it 15fps no matter what

1080p at 30fps
Yes, I have this currently plugged into a lorex 16 ch 4k nvr.
If you have a Dahua OEM lorex nvr then yes the Amcrest camera is a Dahua OEM also and will work.
You may need to sync IP info, port, use / password, and perhaps substream info.

I'd not recommend reducing the resolution, as in general you're only taking a subsample of what the entire image sensor is capturing.
$60+/- for a "4K" 30 fps camera would be an amazing deal right now....
If you really need a "4K" 30fps camera look to spend more right now.

Hey Mat,
I am looking to replace my old Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I cameras. Would these be a good replacement?
