For everyone who keeps questioning the warranty information:

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)

So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.

(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

Sony's pushing it as part of their "PS5 Ready" series and is actually one of the few TV's capable of gaming 4K at 120 Frames...however this tv will not do it out the box until a firmware update Sony has yet to push. It's assumed they'll do it closer to PS5 launch Source: https://www.techradar.com/news/sony-ps5-ready-tv

I mean you bought this way back in July. So you've enjoyed this TV for about 2 months while others patiently waited. Maybe just go to Costco and see if they will price adjust without all the hassles of returning. Cause you returning will just cause your TV to get sent back to Sony and they will then have to sell it as refurbished and then reship it somewhere else to sell. The carbon footprint of all this is huge.

This is really the same as X900H? How are we certain of that?
Sony's Manual for X900H lists it.

XBR-85X900H / 85X90CH / 75X900H / 75X90CH / 65X900H / 65X90CH
XBR-55X900H / 55X90CH

Is this a meaningful upgrade over the 65" TCL R615 (2018)?

Hmmm, been waiting for hisemse 65h9g. Thoughts? Also, oddly I LOVE the overblown soap opera effect, which tv would produce this better?
Hisense H9G produces the best soap opera effect without introducing artifacts; even better than the Sony X900H. The only downside is that the Hisense H9G does not have HDMI 2.1 and does not have good color accuracy compared to the Sony X900H.

If I bought this during the last deal, what do I need to do to get a price adjustment? I have never done that at Costco before.

This is amazing news, I have had my eye on this TV for months now

I'm gonna ask my best friend to put it on her Costco Citi card

Would the extended warranty be under her name or mine?

Hmm what's the likelihood of the warranty being mis-stated in the ad? Not sure if Costco makes typos in their ads often. The box itself says 3 year mfg warranty as well, so the only way to get 5 years out the store would be if the tv was paid for with the Costco Visa.

I know some other tv models (LG, Samsung) have come bundled with a $100 squaretrade warranty promo to get their 5 years, but this isn't listed in the ad.
