For everyone who keeps questioning the warranty information:

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)

So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.

(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

Sony's pushing it as part of their "PS5 Ready" series and is actually one of the few TV's capable of gaming 4K at 120 Frames...however this tv will not do it out the box until a firmware update Sony has yet to push. It's assumed they'll do it closer to PS5 launch Source: https://www.techradar.com/news/sony-ps5-ready-tv

I mean you bought this way back in July. So you've enjoyed this TV for about 2 months while others patiently waited. Maybe just go to Costco and see if they will price adjust without all the hassles of returning. Cause you returning will just cause your TV to get sent back to Sony and they will then have to sell it as refurbished and then reship it somewhere else to sell. The carbon footprint of all this is huge.

Great deal. Wish they'd put the 55" on sale.

I bought the 65" X900E back in 2017 and it's been a great TV. I'm tempted to buy this one or the new TCL 6 series for my game room.

Bought this tv in store 8/28/2020 and then price matched to the last slick deal at $1169.99. Do you think Costco will let me price match again on 9/30/2020? It has been an amazing tv and I really don't want to have to return it just to buy it again.

Hisense H9G produces the best soap opera effect without introducing artifacts; even better than the Sony X900H. The only downside is that the Hisense H9G does not have HDMI 2.1 and does not have good color accuracy compared to the Sony X900H.
Awesome, thanks!

Price match policy is 30 days. On 9/30, it will be past 30 days for you. It will be YMMV with the store manager.

So, it has been mentioned on here more than once that the manufacturer warranty is 3 years. It isn't. Its 1 year. Costco may give you 3 year but sony only gives you 1. I looked at sony.com to double check.

Yikes....I was considering returning the 900F I bought from Amazon a couple of weeks ago for this but according to RTINGS it beats the 900H in the categories that matter to me. TV shows, sports & HDR movies. Anyone with both TV's care to share any advice?

Couldn't disagree more, they've really amped it up these past 2 years, they're going hard again. Samsung on the other hand is declining dramatically in quality and TV lifespan. Though I agree that Sony definitely lacked the 6-8 years before.
Samsung, in my opinion, has always had crappy quality control on everything they make, from exploding phones, exploding refrigerators, exploding washing machines, my parents' 13-month lifespan refrigerator, to my girlfriend's 2-year lifespan tv, and they basically laugh at you when they break.

I got the 75 from Greentoe for $1849 just a week ago, if it goes lower at Costco, I'd be so super sad 😂
